  1. Me or Fodera?
  2. Hi all, I’m off to NYC next week - apart from Aguilar and Sadowsky is there anything else bass related that I must see? thanks Mark
  3. What's the difference between the two amps?
  4. Holy stinky poo - that is small! We demand pricing info now Russ!
  5. OMG - that looks awesome. I thought you were joking! That size of board would be much more in line with what I need, as you say the P&D is just too damn big for most venues I play sadly. Really keen to know pricing and if it would work being powered by the P&D Gigster Head?
  6. That is awesome - thank you so much.
  7. I’ve got to do some work on this tune - did you ever write anything down that you could share?
  8. I can only think it’s time of year!
  9. Lovely pre-Fender era SWR Redhead, in good condition. There are some marks and signs of wear and tear as you would expect for an amp of this age but nothing serious and I have tried to show these in the photos. Serial number dates it at 1995. Lovely combo and an unbelievable tone, I can understand now, having owned one why they are so sought after! I’ve just had it serviced and it’s in tip top condition and ready to go. Comes with SWR branded cover. Price reduced to £295. Would prefer pick up from Cheltenham but may be able to deliver depending on location and courier is always an option too.
  10. Selling my SWR 2x10 cabs, classic SWR tone and the two cabs together make for a versatile modular 4x10 set up. Both cabs are in good condition, some fluffing to the carpet and some places where it has unglued, I have tried to photograph to show this. Price shown is for one cab only - will reduce slightly if buying both together. Collection from Cheltenham preferred but may be able to deliver depending on locations.
  11. Excellent condition SWR cab, very loud and with variable tweeter so a perfect one cab solution. Would prefer collection from Cheltenham but delivery could be possible.
  12. Well, if you ever decide to shift the 2x12 I’d take it off your hands in a snap!
  13. LOL - I did wonder! Mind you it’s a few years ago now that I took that jazz bass off your hands.
  14. Cheers Karl, I am looking for an EBS 4x10 or 2x12 but I think the weight of the proline may make it prohibitive for me.
  15. Cheers guys, been away for a few days but will try some of the suggestions above and see how I get on. I won’t be delving into anything electrical as it’s not my forte and don’t fancy a shock.
  16. Yep - did that and it sounds lovely adding a second 2 x 10, amazing how much it fattens up the tone.
  17. The amp is in a room with a wireless booster that comes via a power line adapter from downstairs - do you reckon that could be it? I’ve rehearsed so many times in that room before though with no issue at all - that is what puzzles me.
  18. LOL - exactly what my wife said!
  19. It’s an early version - 240w.
  20. Can anyone give any advice as to what this noise is coming through the amp/cabs? Never heard anything like this before! https://youtu.be/aFy7hVaYF3U
  21. Evening all, i want to do two different things with my Redhead, first of all it says that the jack output to run an extension cab must be minimum of 4 ohms, all of the cabs that I have are 8 ohms but I can daisy chain them together. Would it be safe to run two 2 x 10 8 ohm cabs together therefore making a 4 ohm load? Also, can you completely disconnect the combos internal speakers and use the head to power other cabs? If so, what impedance should they be? thanks
  22. I love the cabs - have some Workingmans 1x10’s and they are awesome for small gigs. It’s a bargain to buy now because no-one wants them because they are too big and too heavy!
  23. Yep - good idea, need to find some way to help stop the impulse purchasing addiction. Hopefully, got a Redhead incoming tomorrow so really need help!
  24. Have you heard the Bah Samba version of Let The Drums Speak? That ticks along nicely!
