3. UPDATE: Some folks have asked me if I'd consider selling the bass as is, thus complete and ready-to-go. As of now, I'll consider this option as well. Feel free to ask any questions. Thanks.
4. Hi, I've made up my mind: I am looking to sell my Allparts Precision body & neck, without hardware. My plan is to replace the body for a Fiesta Red one and place a J neck on it. I'm just used to j-neck width. Body and neck match very well, neck fits tightly in the pocket. Good quality wood, nice resonancy to it. Produce a real nice vintage tone. Thick, round and warm. So there are two separate threads for each item, but I'd like to offer them as a package deal. Both are only 6 months old, so in very good condition. Body: £210 - 2-piece alder - olympic white (nitro) refinish, not professionally, but still very good - without hardware Link: Body Neck: £185 - maple, rosewood board - vintage gloss tint finish - sanded back of neck for smoother feel - removable Fender decal - without hardware Link: Neck Together: [s]£350[/s] £300 Feel free to ask any questions!

6. For sale: AllParts Precision Body, without hardware In very good condition! Alder 2-piece body, refinished by previous owner in Olympic White (nitro). Job well done, but not professionally. Finish is shining through in two places, see last two photos. Overall, I'd say 7 out of 10 score. Asking £210 (new at AllParts £328) PS: Allparts precision neck without hardware is also for sale. Rosewood fretboard, backside neck has been sanded lightly for smoother feel, headstock has a removable Fender decal.
7. Everybody thank you for your input. So, the sum it up. In order to visually determine the "non export US"-version there might be two signs: the spiral bridge barrels and the large tuner plates. (Thanks silddx for your links to the Fender Japan website).
8. I've asked for a pic of the tuner plates. Let's wait and see. Bridge pic below. Looks like it has smooth barrels.
9.
Small tuner plates are often an easily spotted sign it's an export model, probably with a basswood body (not that these are in anyway bad sounding, they are very good). But don't have the higher spec of a non-export.
Indeed, I did some research on the web looking for the tuner plates. They seem to be smaller on the non US-models. Taking off the neck is not a option for the seller.
10. Hi fellow basschatters, This is a question for the Fender Japan experts. How to tell VISUALLY difference between Fender Japan "62JB" and "62JB-US?". I have found a nice bass second-hand, but I'm not sure about the version (bodywood and pu's). I know that the specs differ: the US version uses alder (not basswood) and US pickups. Is there any way you can tell which version it is, just by looking at it? Perhaps a slight difference in the decall, construction, screws, bridge etc? Cheers, Bass-a-licious
