1.
Nice sounding bass...
Yes, it is. The video shows the smooth sound. But there are many more possibilities, thanks to the two volume pots. Incredible bass for this money
2.
Lovely looking bass. What string spacing are you used to on the Sadowsky 5? Also, what is the back of the neck like on this bass? Satin or gloss? Thanks
Hi Mike, I'm used to (at least) 19 mm. My sadowsky even has 19,5 mm. The Bacchus neck has a smooth satin finish. Cheers, Raymond
3. Some interest, but no biters so far... Did I mention that this bass has a super tight low B for a 34" inch neck?! Just for those who are interested. If you have any questions, feel free to ask them.
4. Hi, Looking to sell my Bacchus Comando 5 jazz bass. It's an active five string jazz bass. Very well built, has a nice look (CAR) and offers an incredible powerful sound. I've received this bass only a few days ago, but I just can't get the hang of the smaller Fender-style (18mm) stringspacing as I'm used to my Sadowsky and Bottomwave. What a shame. Body: USA Alder Neck: Canadian Maple, 21 frets Fingerboard: Indian Rosewood Finish: Candy Apple Red Pickguard: Pearloid Pickups: Fralin JJ5 Preamp: Bacchus 2-band Including Bacchus gigbag I'm looking for 600 GBP. I'm also open to trade proposals, like a nice four string jazz or precision (Fender, Lakland JoBo or Duck Dunn, etc). By the way, I'm based in the Netherlands (Rotterdam area). Here's a picture from the internet And a YouTube video: Show
5. Just received the Sadowsky RV 5 from XB26354. Bass was in excellent condition, as advertised. Communication was quick and helpful. Shipping through FedEx priority to the Netherlands. Very nice man to deal with, highly recommended!!! 5/5 points
6.
Cheers! I've had some interesting trade offers but I'm only looking for a straight sale now as I have my eye on something else. I can also post in the UK/EU and am based in North London if you're close enough to visit.
PM'ed
7. I know I want it! It's a gorgeous bass. Just need to shift some gear to raise funds... and maybe setting up a nice deal with owen
8. Can you tell us a bit more about the specs? - Materials for body and neck - Scale length - Nut width - Stringspacing (bridge)
9. I assume you mean 19 mm Nice bass by the way! I used to own a Fender Classic Custom JB5 in the same lovely colour.
10. You can check out the Valenti basses website for photos and specs. Click here for a photo.
11. Thanks for the reply G. Too bad of the email failure yesterday. Stunning bass, have no other words.
12. Just wondering: Are those black spots on the neck dirt that has gone into the wood? I thought those maple necks were finished with a clear lacquer, thus making dirt removal easy (I'm thinking of my jazz).
