1. Its a 5 string mate so wouldn't really match your criteria if you are looking for a narrow neck, etc. Great basses the Sterling range is though. A lot of tone for the money and although i've not tried an SB14 my RAY 35 feels largely identical to an SR5.
2. SOLD now, thanks Hi in an effort to downsize my equipment since i'm currently not gigging I am selling my Custom Flite Bass Cab. I bought it on here about 9 months or so ago from Steviedee and its served me well but now has to move on to clear some space in my flat. Its a great amp...here's the original post from when Stevie purchased it http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=44859&hl=flite Even though its a relatively lightweight cab I am not keen on posting so collection is very much preferred. Alternatively if someone wishes to arrange a courier themselves I will do what I can at my end. Cheers Chris
3. Thats a great cab at a great price. Wish I was able to collect.
4. I'd say a +1 on a Geddy Lee Sig, widely regarded as having one of the best necks Fender currently produce. Also I can vouch for the Sterling by MM range. Great basses. Even though I am selling mine its not because its fallen out of favour, its just because I have WAAAY too much gear haha.
5. On pure aesthetic grounds I think it looks the business!
6. That DP200H looks interesting!!
7. These seem like the perfect recording basses. Its like a swiss army knife with all the configs you get. My only problem and its the same with the Bongo is the look. If I could justify dropping the cash on one just for studio work I would but sadly I can't.
8. Hi I am selling the outer soft case for a pedaltrain mini. Its mint and if you throw in a home made board its a great buy. I dont have any use for it now. £20 + PP (or collection in Glasgow). Ta Chris NOW SOLD
9. +1 on the Sansamp Bass Driver. I once saw a quote (on TB I think) that said they only put a footswitch on it so you could hear how much better it made the sound when activated. I have to agree...it will turn a flat uninspiring sound into something truely fantastic.
10.
Dude i'm beyond interested, just can't shift my LTD yet. I hope i can get it gone before this goes! unless you fancy a swap with some cash your way?
Hi, sorry, major gear clearout at the moment so sale only. If you shift the LTD give me a shout. Chris
11.
Dude is this still for sale? If I can shift my Ltd b155 I'll 100% have this off you
Hi Mark, its still for sale. Drop me a PM if you're interested. Cheers Chris
12.
Must buy a Jag, must buy a Jag, ARGH!!!!!
Aaah go on...you know you want to haha.
13. Bump for back for sale.
14. To me, I listened to Primus and Les' stuff years ago (I actually still really love the two live Frog's Brigade cds). Although my tastes have moved on I feel that the music world would be a more boring place if Les and co weren't around. In some way its nice and comforting knowing he's out there doing his own thing on his own terms and i've got a lot of respect for that. The bass looks typically Les in style and design, i'd be interested to see the spec's and as with any instrument i'll reserve judgement on the quality until I see one either in the flesh or at the very least with some proper pictures.
15. Okay so £390 posted, £380 collected. Bump.
16. Mine's now firmly for sale here http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=...8&hl=RAY+35
17. Yeah I think you are right. The advert mistakenly lists it as active. Even though, its still cool and I bet it sounds hella good with a nice warm preamp.
18. Cheers, its a great bass but i'm having an enforced clear-out...trying to get back to just playing my Ric...otherwise i'd keep it. I'm hoping at the price it'll sell itself. You are right though I dont really see the difference in quality between this and an EB-SR5.
19. Sure, Here it is.
20. Not mine or anything to do with me but an active Wal Pro 1e at a (currently) quite reasonable price. Bit of wear with age but I like! If anyone is looking for a Wal could be a nice buy. 21. Bump for new price and sale.
22. Monday bump and now £190 inc postage (within Mainland UK).
23. Thanks guys, I was thinking around the £300 mark. I reckon I'll see what the funds do in January haha.
