  1. I could bring an ABM600 if it was needed but i feel we probably have a topheavy data points / time ratio!
  2. Personally I find the uberhorns the nicest looking basses.
  3. I don't think that is a fair comparison as that is a special edition, so it is more in a comparison to something like this: https://www.andertons.co.uk/fender-custom-shop-75-jazz-bass-in-black-over-aged-3-tone-sunburst-heavy-relic which is a beaten up jazz for the same sort of money. I don't think these things are designed to play, they are designed to be hung on the wall somewhere.
  4. They have their problems like the fender ones, but I assume they are probably on balance working out the same. January this year - in site news
  5. Honestly I am sure that if a child did draw one, it would look more like a fender because it is roundy and simple. Probably more a P though.
  6. My school career officer told me there were no careers in computers for people like me. Which was nice
  7. Even if there was a radio caroline or whatever, it would play the hits of now, not the parents or grandparents generation, and as you said, you don't listen to music so why would it be surprising you don't know anything produced recently
  8. it's even cheaper in other shops
  9. Sorry.. I started not believing after the start words
  10. Very impressed with that. I am not in the market for anything like that, and it is out of my range of purchasing if it was, however as someone who writes user interfaces for a living I would say that that is one of the nicest user interaction flows I have seen in one of those devices, and if I was in the market for one, that is the one I would get!
  11. No I remember what happened - we got down there and watched most of the friday set, it was really warm and I was in the process of getting off with this girl that I went up with (there were about 5 of us travelled up in a princess). It was ok until steel pulse came on then the atmosphere turned all nasty because there were a bunch of bikers that didn't like black people, so lots of bottling etc, so we wandered back to the tent, got of our faces and then resumed on the saturday, so almost certainly i missed big country and the stranglers. And frankly at the time I don't think I would have been interested by either.
  12. I know. I was there. I don't remember anything about it. Think I might have just enjoyed the day a bit too much
  13. I was at reading festival in 1983 and I don't remember them. Can't have been that good
  14. I had to refresh the page once it had loaded to get the images to load, but I thought that was just a glitch on my end as every other time I tried it it was ok.
  15. Tried it here on Mac safari / chrome and it seems ok
  16. My setup was always 2 tops and one sub under one of the tops. Although changed now I have a RCF evox 8, and also change as at an open air gig there was a really bad rattle on one of the toms and we found out it was having the top on the pole above the sub, so now the top is back on a normal stand.
  17. There is a Dog and Duck pub in Mount Pleasant SC if you ever fancy a 17 hour drive!
  18. I can't think of a simple device as I use a 12 step (although I am sure I saw a footpedal midi switch), and I wasn't part of the conversation on the line6, but is the problem you just lack a spare footswitch on the helix?
  19. Obviously, if you had one of those you could sell it and buy something decent!
  20. I think before austerity happened, they used to just give you one with your TV license!
