I remember those days, I don't think the group I am in has ever done that short. At minimum we do 2 hours, at maximum it is 3 hours with a 15 minute break. Most of the time it is two hour and ¼ sets.
-
I think our guitarist is in the same thing - he really enjoys group practice, but not really gigging, so he is now leaving, the rest of us are the opposite of that and it isn't something you can compromise on!

Yes Indeed - an ExFat drive will work on both machines, and is the best way to get compatibility between them for very little trade off (that matters on a removable drive)
-
If there is enough space on the new machine, just copy it out, reformat it and put the files back. you are right, it doesn't write to NTFS, that is a microsoft propriatary licensed format.
-
Why? HDMI is almost 20 years old. However, the EMU interface is down to them not making drivers for it, you cant use 32 bit drivers on a 64 bit system on the mac. The hard drive you can just convert on the PC to something other than NTFS.

Yes, I got them from another shop, several others had them at about the same price, so I just picked the quickest shipping one with the best feedback on the highest sales. aparently with me in a few weeks

Thanks - makes sense - I had a KZ ZS10 before and I liked those. In fact I only realise how much I like those having to go back to something else!

They already have their discounts in ali express, but I kind of got overloaded with the number of products - which are the better ones, which are the junk? They seem to go from a fiver to £70, at what point are they worth it.

At our recent bass bash the RST was pretty well the lightest thing there, it is really remarkably light (especialy if you then go to the euro, which is most certainly not lightweight!) I would go for a quality make such as Switchraft (and it is an output socket, often known as a switchraft stereo barrel jack socket)

Has anyone tried the SubZero Rogue VI - got a spam from G4M today with them reduced to £200. They look ok although I know the subzero stuff is pretty cheap

I have a stand and an endpin - can't imagine I would use the endpin much though as if I was playing it it would have to be as well as the bass
-
In my experience, comments from group 2 are more interested in the gear you play and reasonably positive.
-
Yeh, i guess.. well I had some ZXs and they were great, but I am sure they were just ZX10s - I just want a set that work as well as those.
-
Ooh - handy - I seem to have lost my KZs and the replacements I have are not good. Why are there so many models? Which KZ models are better for IEMs than the others?
-
I enjoy mine and am ok with the sound, but I haven't got (or want) an actual DB so nothing to compare it to. As happy jack says though, in many cases it is mostly down to the image, on stage most bass like things can make most bass like noises. I haven't used mine live yet, will give it a try at some point!

Boss Waza Air Bass - update to v1.30
Woodinblack replied to Jean-Luc Pickguard's topic in Accessories and Misc
Mine the other day wouldn't play bluetooth audio at any level - I hope that is a temporary thing. I could just about hear the audio at full volume. -
The beatles have never been that much to me. I listened to them more as a kid (and had those two albums from the picture earlier) but they weren't that significant. Something was the first guitar solo I learned though. Now with time they mean even less, not something I would ever intentionally listen to, but also not anything I would rush to turn off - like sonic wallpaper I guess, just there. The stones mean even less, never really listened to any of that, and the who, I doubt I even know most of their songs, I guess that is just mummy and daddy music.

Boss Waza Air Bass - update to v1.30
Woodinblack replied to Jean-Luc Pickguard's topic in Accessories and Misc
Doesn't seem anything for me to update there, I don't have a pedal for it. -
I am sure there is a good reason, but why do you have a camera aimed at your arse at gigs?

Sockets. I took my Green spector Euro out on saturday, remembered how much I liked playing it (after a bit of a 'mid on full cut' issue), apart from the weight. The RST solves the weight issue by being one of the lightest basses ever but, I don't trust it fully as it cuts out occasionally from the jack socket. I looked in the electronics cavity at the weekend, it is so cheap in there compared to the Euro - these basses retail at 2.5k, and the electronics aren't as good as the basic ibanezes!

Thanks for that offer - it is the self tapping ones on the old spectors I am missing!

Forgot to mention, on my gig on saturday, setup, all ok, start playing, bass (Spector Euro) sounds completely gutless, like the whole middle is missing, check the amp, all is ok. Carry on a for a few songs. Then I thought I would maybe boost the middle after a gap in song 3-4, found out that when checking it out (the battery was a bit dead on friday, which is why I didn't take it to that gig), I had checked out the swept mids and left it as complete cut in the middle. oops. Turned that flat and.. ok, now need to turn the bass down! Rememebered, that although the spector is heavier than I liked, it is a great bass to play. Need to sort the socket out on the RST so it doesn't cut out, and then that will probably be coming out more too.
