I thought this was a thread about people cloning behringer stuff! ETA Didn't notice you had already said that!
-
For some things, there are forums, for everything else, there are PMs

It might be normal, it is a long way from reasonable I bid on both of the rics, one went too much and one went way too much!
-
I would love one if they ever got near enough to some sort of money that i would pay
-
Of course it wasn't - it was about the media lumping everyone who made a band in the late 70s into the latest genre and a type of music. I think it is just a type of music, you like it or you don't

What are you listening to right now?

And in doing so made themselves the only metal band name that anyone remembers! -
Its a shame, the 4003s is much better with the smooth edges, but it looks so poor without the proper inlays. Why can't they do a 4003 without the edges!

For something that is in the 1000s, it is worth going there to inspect, as they are not experts. I got my 5 string ibanez semi acoustic there - handy for things that aren't valuable, other things can be a tad overpriced as a lot of people seem to forget the fees, plus now our economy is bad, there are a lot more european bidders.

And the strat that went with the 63 went for £20,000!

Wow, impressive 8 year revival 😃

If it is for sale / for trade, just put 'trade only' in the title. If you don't want a sale, you don't have to accept any sales. That way you can just search for it now

Need help with an Aria Sinsonido bass electronics
Woodinblack replied to K Barad's topic in Repairs and Technical
They aren't that rare (unless there is something odd about yours). I played one at my local guitar shop, and seen another couple. it would be hard to get a circuit as aria don put them out although there is the thread here https://www.soundonsound.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=61857 where it shows it should be a reasonable easy thing to diagnose if you do electronics -
Got mine today, gave it a spin at lunch, sounds great. Will have to spend some time with it tonight. A lot smaller than I thought it was, which is handy

It is certainly in that range!

Compact budget PA set-up to put bass through (without back-line).
Woodinblack replied to Al Krow's topic in PA set up and use
Funny, the old guitarist asked if I could make a gate when he did play it -
I briefly though about the core, but if it can't do what the SY200 can do, it seems it doesn't bring much to the party over the HXFX.

The Short Scale Bass Appreciation Society!
Woodinblack replied to Baloney Balderdash's topic in Bass Guitars
My Squier Mustang has Fender Flats on it, which are the only flats I use* (that I kept) and also the only time I used fender strings! I wanted flats for the AGB, as it tends to be the one I play acoustically these days as it is the loudest acoustic. The chromes were too anaemic, they didn't sound good at all, which is why i thought I would go for the original gauge. It probably isn't a bass I would be gigging much (I took it to a gig, it was so boomy) so not so important. * by that I mean, the only bass I use that has flats on! -
The Short Scale Bass Appreciation Society!
Woodinblack replied to Baloney Balderdash's topic in Bass Guitars
On strings I wanted new strings for my AGB 205 as I think they may be the original, and it has to be a decade old. After measuring I realised that although it is short scale, it has so much gap behind the bridge that it uses long scale strings I had some old chromes, thought they would work but the are way smaller than the strings on the original. looked up the original sizes and they are 55 - 145, so couldn't find flats. couldn't actually find a t string set either, so got a 4 string set and an individual -

I would like a "singer handed the microphone to the most tone deaf woman in the room" filter, but they don't seem to have one!

I assume that Trace Elliot had a lot of valves left over in the factory when they shut down the plant, and ashdown just carried on using them recently.

Indeed - was mentioned in the release
