So does a normal plug when put in and rotated 180 degrees drop out at all?
-
Still around though, they were only suppose to be limited edition anyway, which moot does keeping their prices up
-
Well, it *should* make no difference if the plug is the same all the way round - I mean how would the socket know that the plug was the other way round. Unless the hole of the socket itsn't round or the plug isn't round, it should be the same.
-
Thats very peculiar? Are the rings on the WL20 not solid all the way round, like is there any difference between the surface on both sides of the plug?
-
Mandella effect It was number 7, I remember it at the time. The number one that fans made was 'bring your daughter', which was a fan campain to buy the single and give them a number one.
-
Great song but it was never a number one. Unfortunate considering 'bring your daughter to the slaughter' was a number 1, and it was nowhere near as good as this
-
I think that is the main difference, the C4 and FI are for people who know what they want and are prepared to make it work. The SY-1 is a bunch of effects that you can use - there are a lot of them but basically that is it, turn the knobs until you find a pleasing sound

Not a huge fan of his, but the non slap playing is rather nice, certainly worth a runthrough

Dream basses that left you disappointed

Yes, he bought it, played it, then took it to a photo shoot and Ibanez noticed at which point he became an Ibanez artist. He mainly plays his BTB6 or 7 -

I am guessing quite a few people. I have met many people that do high fret stuff, mostly 6 strings. Dave swift has a custom model and he is always playing his. I quite like them apart from the necks are way to large for me. -

I am in a similar but opposite camp. I got the Epiphone thunderbird (the through neck with the gibson pickups) and I found with the CTM100 amp it was an absolutely glorious sound and good to play (and lethal for the singer, another plus!), but sadly, I can't get used to playing a 4 string, I can't do my current bands set with one and I can't be bothered to change basses (and our set list is never fixed), so it ended up on the wall looking pretty and gathering dust. Oh the messinger cazpar 5 string short scale, absolute beauty, but totally uninspiring and lifeless sound. Geddy lee jazz, again good sound, nothing special on looks obviously, have to tune it any time the weather changes. And again, a 4. I see all these lovely 4s and really tempted but just know that you are never going to end up playing them. Almost got a ric 4003, but figured it would be another waste. -

I agree, why should you have to put up with huge spacing just to fill up the space on a 4? Luckily Ibanez do 16.5mm on a SR4 too mostly! -

I would put the ford as a mondeo, and loads of people dream of those. I would call the ibanez more a honda! For me it was the dingwall - huge dissapointment. Still would love to try the more upmarket ones, but considering how bad it was I couldn't buy unseen and they don't exist in many places. Still, swapped it for an ibanez, which I still have. Probably be the last one I kept. -
Must be something by abba I would have thought. Unless Japan had number ones no, they didn't, so I guess hysteria by muse, as the song most likely to hear in a bass shop

Ive been lucky, never had a dummer issue!
-
Yep, sadly you can't bring a spare guitarist!

Agreed. I don't believe in fate, but it has never gone smoothly so happy to walk away. on a more positive note, my main gigging group met on Thursday, after finally finding a venue. Last time we met in the august between time we messed up everything. We have a gig in 3 weeks, so unusually for us we had a prearranged set list, so we got there and went through it - 24 of the 30 songs and hardly made any mistakes, and all at a good speed. Honestly if we did a gig that well I would be happy. Also trying out the ABM600, which was excellent, the xvive iems, and checking the synth pedals etc. All good. looking forward to the gig now!

Oh yes, we will. That was part of the annoyance really. If this had happened before lockdown, or during lockdown, we wouldn't have spent all that time practicing these songs we would never do, we could have been doing other stuff (to be fair, we should have done other stuff). Those feelings must have been present then. So yes, we will do another group, just feel like we have wasted a lot of time.

The BAM200 is fairly quiet in normal home use and until it is driven hard, then it can get quite loud, but that is the way with smaller fans, they have to make more noise to pull the same amount of air..

No, you can own a band though.

I am suspecting looking at their site, as they make a huge deal of their analogue ones, so it probably isn't.

Well, if you go to the line6 page, as I did yesterday to redownload helix native, you are met by a big banner saying: IMPORTANT SAFETY ALERT: FIRE HAZARD REGARDING RELAY® G10 TRANSMITTER CORRECTIVE ACTION REQUIRED IMMEDIATELY FOR RELAY G10, RELAY G10S, AND RELAY G10T WIRELESS PRODUCTS PURCHASED PRIOR TO MARCH 2020. Had my second rehearsal with my Motown band the other day, (and the first rehearsal with my main band). Got contacted today by the drummer of the Motown band saying that the others were talking (other singer and new guitarist) and didn't think my wife was a good fit for the way the want the band to go. My band. But that was ok wasn't it and didn't affect me? The direction being the singer and guitarist (who is on his third practice since my wife found him) being a blues group. So you join a motown band and say you want to go blues? The other singer isn't really any good at anything other than a very narrow group of blues songs but is a friend of the drummer. Frankly I have had so much hassle with that group and the only reason I was sticking with it was because it gave me an oportunity to be in a group with my wife, like a shared activity. If they had said that before lockdown, where we hadn't spent all year practicing these songs to be ready to go when we got back together, and if they had said something when we were having a discussion about songs and directions, rather than telling the drummer to talk to us, I suspect the conversation wouldn't have needed to use the words spineless and c***ts, but as they say, it is what it is. I could have kicked them all out of my group, but frankly it wasn't worth the effort. If they want to put the effort in to get another bass player I guess they will have to do it themselves. Still, would have gone down better if it hadn't been on our wedding anniversary.

Yeh I got that email today and was trying to think if anything needed a bag!
