  1. I would go along if they were all that good!
  2. It does. I am not a fan either although generally fairly not bothered if it doesn't affect others.
  3. I am not sure why you would want to do it if you weren't religious though. I am assuming it doesn't pay much and I can't imagine there is much flexibility in songs unless I guess you are an original band, do they have those? Sort of like a cover band, but with a thinner choice.
  4. Yep we have been discussing this on the worst song thread for a while:
  5. No, churches and religious schools have always been allowed to discriminate.
  6. Do you mean musicians that play in worship bands? I suspect not. However, I wouldn't have thought the main areas of gigging was worship bands in the UK. Most places in the UK church attendances are going down so it doesn't seem like something to do just for a career move!
  7. I would say that is probably best not to eat ice cream while riding a bike, both of those things should consume your full attention.
  8. Well, if you have gone for the whole fiver, I suspect you are in with a good chance!
  9. Doesn't seem unreasonable assuming they were in very good condition. I went to look at their publicity page. I didn't know they had the EWI presets... looks at the ewi...
  10. ok, so no to the red dress, how about the white one?
  11. My wife was convinced it was staged to see how nasty people were on the internet. I think a better experiment is to play well and see how nasty people are on the internet!
  12. To me it is. I don't find Fenders particularly good looking, but their proportions are ok, the ratio of body to head and radius of body compared to horn area. This has all those proportions skewed.
  13. Yep, I had it yesterday and don't have it today. Its missing, presumably gone to live on a farm
  14. I never found mods actually added any values unless they were something very desirable.
  15. Didn't you wonder where everyone was?
  16. I think also that Pink Floyd or Genesis as a group didn't really have that much of a look. They were just the group far away and you couldn't really see them anyway.
  17. It is less the lack of cost and more the surfeit of ugly.
  18. Not sure, its there when I look:
  19. I guess they cant afford the A/C once they have paid for somewhere to live in Seattle!
  20. Is that the 'things to throw on a fire' corner?
  21. My first bass was a Ibanez ric 4001, it was very good. And I have no idea what happened to it.
  22. Oh dont go thinking your special or anything, we are all heros around here!
  23. Well, yes, if it was muted it shouldn't come through, so gain should be flooding the input (but nowhere else). So taking it logically, you said you muted the the aux channels - did you try muting the actual input channel to make sure that the bass was coming through the channel you thought it was (caught me out once before), and also to ensure that it is not coming in another route as well, such as a microphone or something. Once it is definitely coming in on only the channel you expect and you can control its levels, the meters in all the aux channels should tell you where it is getting to (and also as well as looking at the inputs in the aux channels, look at the outputs in the individual channel). If it is getting somewhere you don't expect, then there is the channel matrix that is normally just a diagonal line but if it isn't, it can confuse everything (I have never understood why anyone would want to edit this, would just lead to major confusion!) Past that, looking in the overal meters screen should tell you where it is getting to
  24. By all aux feeds does that also include effects channels? Having said that, my bass input has to always be right down on the input to make sure it doesn't overload (actually that was on the tc450, doesn't seem to be the same on the ABM), but my bass doesn't go through any effects, just to avoid it bleeding through - it doesn't come out of the PA, it just goes to monitoring.
