I mentioned it fitted in the hercules hanger, but I don't do it and I must admit with all that said, I would be rather reluctant to hang it in a hanger like that with the presure of it only going on the piece of wood that broke on mine - the part held is entirely the part that is glued on. Good case. Although I am ok with the existing one.

For that price you could probably get a new one that wasn't so worn out!

Its not a legal enforcement, it is a contract term. Your contract doesn't let you sell outside your area, if you sell outside your area, you lose your contract terms, which may have been more favourable than others. We had some contract terms on my wifes web shop that precented selling things on eBay (which we didn't do anyway). I have a TC Electronic BAM200, which sits above my EVO IV 600 connected to my BC speaker that I use in the house, it is perfect for that. No, I couldn't gig it but it was £85 new and it is the best practice amp I have, far better than the PJ combo and even the bose S1 that preceded it (the bose is still there for vocals).

Not sure - isn't it something very useful to have in a gig bag in case your amp dies? OK, might never happen, but if it does you would be happy for it.

From my POV - I blame gibson, because that is what gibson did with pretty well everything - they just bough labels to kill them. One minute you are talking about volume, now about rating. you could aways use watts to say how much power you can put out, as long as you specify what that power rating means. No - its no like you are being discriminated on for your race, it is a requirement for a job, such as them saying you need to hold a driving license for a driving job. If they need someone who can easily get in the EU, I would assume it was essential. Currently if you have a european passport and british settled status, youre in the best of both worlds for travel, you would have all the rights we all used to have.

TBH, I don't really get insurance for damage, I get insurance for when they lose it, which seems the mostly likely thing.

So who else is there now Eurosender are no longer there? They were the only people that actually insured basses that weren't in hard cases that I had used.

So 3.5 months to get the rate down from less than it is now to 50 or less. Now we have a vaccine which may help (assuming they don't keep going against manufacturers advice on how to use it) that will reduce some deaths, but also a more virilant strain. And after the 3.5 months they didn't open up live music in pubs. So another 3.5 months, maybe those last two will cancel each other out, but the 80+ age group in general aren't the largest group of gig goers, so I think those figures have made me less positive about indoor gigs. Maybe in the summer, outdoor gigs might come back. if that happens, I will be happy for that (as I like outdoor gigs anyway), although for our gigs that tend to have dancing, maybe not. I believe gigs will come back this year, but not in the way they were at the start of last year yet..

Oh I am not that great on valves, I grew up later A valve such as a 12AX7 can be powered from anything really as long as its heater is on (it can be run without it but that is a different discussion), however the linear amplification region of the valve is a small percentage of its power supply, so where as at 300V it is something like 60V or so that is linear, at 12V you are talking something very small, 1-2v, outside of which it distorts a lot. Maybe you want that distortion in which case that is fine, otherwise you need to make sure the signal is small on the input and the output has a traditional solid state amplifier to take what comes out of the value up to a decent level. But I am guessing you want it for distortion, or why would you bother with a valve there!

Is that on the Mac or on iOS - I assume iOS with your video? Now I look at garage band there doesn't appear to be a monitoring unless you are recording (not when just playing). As you said, there used to (I use JamUp or BIAS Amp, which were always better at playing along to a track) and it also depends on your interface (I am not familiar with the IRig). If you set it to record, you can use the monitor button and just throw the recording away when you have finished. If you are not recording though I would still use something like JamUp for just playing along.

This is true. Although it is hard to move around Bath in (a normal) summer, with the large number of Chinese tourists in the last few years, so I guess that is now on the list.

Amsterdam was built on 'that stuff'. I read something about trying to redirect tourism a bit to manage their numbers. It is crazy the amount of people there last time I went compared to first time (which would have been in the 70s). They could do with spreading their tourism around the Netherlands - there is quite a lot of the rest of the country.
