  1. haha - no, far from it! It is. We do love machine, does your mother know, who knew (by p!nk), Poker Face (lady gaga), Timber (Pitbull/Ke$ha). It is, as you say, all music.
  2. Yep to both. Band is 2 30s, 1 40s, 1 50s male.
  3. Honestly if you find it sounds better as a passive, save yourself a bit of money in and put a capacitor and resistor across the pickup to reduce the highs, and jobs a good one Not something I would do, no, but obviously down to you if you want to do that, Although if you really like it it seems a bit odd to change. The series parallel is worth having though, gives you a different sound thats just a bit beefier. I had that on my Jazz for those times when you just needed a bit 'more'. I have it my G&L too, but that already has too much!
  4. Interesting - wish I had seen that those years ago before I got rid of the dingwall. Or the SR805. I have the warman pickups in the bass I built myself. Great sound, but the output from them is crazy hot, like the G&L MFDs, I think when I do a bit more work to that bass I will put an inline volume reduction!
  5. One thing that is good in most american cities, if you know the number or road you can get a good guess where you are going to.
  6. 21 of those, I have done at least once, if not necessarily by the specified artist.
  7. my 1605 is low gloss, as was the 505 and SRC6. Yes, it gets shiny where it gets rubbed, but I am fine with it, and as the 1605 is spalted, you don't notice it really
  8. Oh yes, there is that, if you download something from the internet now with the latest systems, you have to give it permission to run so it isn't something dodgy. With the built in drums do you not have the option to set it to just use straight beats? I must admit if I am doing something specific with drums I would import a midi drum track and get it to play, or use the loops.
  9. All audio plugins should be in /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins (I think it might be in application support in previous systems). All AUs in there should be visible to all applications that use AUs anywhere on the computer.
  10. I have 3 Ibanez SRs 5 strings, 2 with the same pickups. I know which is which from the recorded sound. Even live I can tell them apart
  11. "Are we ready for a soundcheck yet"
  12. Yeh, thats the big split. It is quite a difference if I sit in my room with the 1505 compared to all the premiums, they pick up a lot more noise. Also if I am gigging, I can't get near the valve amp with the SRs with the big singles.
  13. Well, if they are, you can save yourself a few quid by buying them in packs of 5 https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/402063926930
  14. Well, the big single also suffers from single coil hum, being a single coil. What doesnt though is the big split, which looks identical (and sounds pretty similar).
  15. When you find out, let us know, as I seem to have.. err.. gained one recently!
  16. Isnt that one the Beegees? The older one? (the one on the left that is).
  17. Only in hard cases though, so not much use to me in anything I have sent, selling a low value bass would involve me buying a hard case and then paying extra to send it, making it not worth selling.
  18. Hmm.. not another band doing rush covers.. goes to look.. blink.. subscribe..
  19. I have used them 4 times now. Once I had a problem that DPD didn't turn up the day they were supposed to be, and there was another problem, but it did get sorted, the rest of the time it has been sorted ok. Yes, the discount is a lot less than 10%, but even with that, they seem one of the few people you can insure musical instruments with if you don't have a hard case and want it insured.
  20. There is enough for everyone to see, its the people that make the event!
  21. You are right. Although they are on your post! @scrumpymike - it might be worth linking the event that is rescheduled on the first page for this
  22. It does place him in the wrong, but it is hearsay. I am currently going through it with eBay and although they can see that I am right in what I say, there isn't anything they can do about it as rules are rules
  23. I don't see there is much you can do - depends on him obviously, but if he says you never gave it to him, he is entitled to his money back. You have no proof he has it, as you didn't ship it.
  24. The Memorial Hall TA2 8JY just outside Cheddon Fitzpaine village - Three posts up ^ Full details how to find it on the first page.
