  1. Its true that you wouldn't. But then if you are on an iPad pro you wouldn't need to put that on a table either! The size is a massive difference. Part of the reason I am getting rid of my LT at the moment is that it is bigger than the space in my room. If I was gigging it it would be fine, but I am not because I need a lot of other things (well, and I am not gigging at this very moment, but that much is obvious!) Fair enough. I never got on with the zoom multi recorders, although I swear by both the little video and audio recorders I have, the H2n and umm.. whatever the other one is called!
  2. Why would you use a real helix for home recording when you get a huge discount off Helix native?
  3. I don't think that would happen, it is a clear position, it has the same DSP as the stomp but dedicated to FX, hence the name, and it is aimed at people who don't need or want amp models.
  4. Why? someone liked the mibass 2, never seen anyone comment about it. I had one for a few years, played it 5 times, luckily managed to sell it recently
  5. I had a mibass 2, it was without doubt one of the worst amps I have had. Hated the thing, completely useless. Maybe mine was defective or something.
  6. I am trying to get them all to calm down so I can just get on with playing
  7. Expression pedal, lots more knobs, bigger display, 2 x the DSP and no artificial limits, and it makes you look generally cooler, more attractive to women and much more of a rock star. There may be some bias in that answer somewhere
  8. I thought that was a safe bet! But the SY-1 is one of those things that I can't imagine offloading
  9. Because it means you can get one of these for £300 off buying one of the ones with the nords.
  10. I got something from the (a bass isolation pad) which I ordered last week and it turned up a few days later.
  11. Yeh, mine worked on my iPad fine, which is what I use for music, but I didn't buy it to use on the iPad, I have plenty of things for that. I bought it so I could just play without anything connected. The chinese adapter I was refering to was £1.50 off ebay, I don't have an apple one.
  12. Its one of those facebook links that won't play because it is on facebook
  13. my chinese made lighning to 3.5mm adapter won't record, just noisily plays Apart from another one I got for a few quid, that works on the iPad but not the Xs
  14. So everything was fine, then you bought a Ric, then you had a bad gig, the world got Covid 19 and you got ill for a few weeks. OK, I am not saying that it has to be connected, but, you know, there wasn't illness and global pandemic before you bought the ric was there?
  15. There has never been a bass made with tort that doesn't look like a 70s living room. Apart from the ones that look like a 50s living room.
  16. Anyone know of any kits for dual channel preamps, 2 in, 2 out with a summed mono, volume/bass/treble for both sides? I know, its an easy circuit but those kits are so easy to assemble it is just like buying a new one, but I don't see any new ones other than at crazy prices.
  17. I see it has a 'prog' button on the front. Does that just alter your timing?
  18. Yeh, it's only the same if you are going to play a continuous sine wave through it at full power. In which case you probably should be using a different amp
  19. Yep, mine turned up earlier. Put some batteries in, works fine. Thats great, it can sit on the table for late night practice, less to move around. Very good for the price.
  20. I agree. The completed item actually is the first kay I have seen that I don't want to destroy with fire.
  21. Yep. And if it wasn't for the always on tuner, how is the guitarist supposed to know what chord they are supposed to be playing?
  22. There were some big threads here about it too. I have gone through a few amps but I am still with the 450. Tbh the only problems I had with it were the original knobs.
  23. Well, the burst is the only really relevant thing there, you cannot sustain an rms signal on a bass, so it is twice as high as the 450
