    what is the spacing on those 6 strings? I mean like the parallel spacing if it was flat. Is it less than 17mm?

    Yes, but he doesn't have a bass VI. the GK3B fits that fine. I have had a GK3B on both a Squier P Bass and a G&L L2500.

    If you remember from previous threads, the GK3 has the wrong spacing for a 6 string bass

    Agreed wholeheartedly, although I am a great fan of guitar synths, you do need to be very good on them to get up to "passable keyboard player" level.

    That looks nice without the pickguard. Never been a fan of the 50s PBass as that guard is such a horrible shape. But like that it looks good.

    They gave me the colour options, and I almost went for purple but red just seemed a lot harder to lose. I was surprised they were that red, but not unhappy!

    Looking more seriously into these now. I would like to try a 6 string again but don't want to waste too much money on it if it isn't for me. So people who had them, do you still think they are any good, are they worth £350 (the deals on eBay don't really seem worth it now)?

    The original EWI from many years ago had a separate synth block as did the 3000, but they haven't been made for a few decades. The current 4000 and 5000 have built in sounds, and the USB is just a USB controller

    The 5000 is fully self contained, you just need to plug it into something (also has wireless audio).

    I just bought a BAM200 for around the house. It was £90, its really loud and sounds fine, I am rather impressed, it fits in the front pocket of a gig bag.

    Yes, I bought a classic vibe mustang last year, but then got notification that it was going to be 6 months until delivery so I cancelled it. Would still be keen on getting one!

    Child of mine (like most songs) had a series of patterns which are used interchangeably all the way through. Once you have the patterns sorted you just need the order to put them in and even that doesn't really matter as they can go anywhere with the same chords, which is almost all the way through apart from the solo at the end

    Depends why you are going there, if you are just looking it poses no risk at all, just that it doesn't have a correctly configured ssl site, but you don't need it to have
