    Is the top of that barefaced (ie, the right hand side on that picture) supposed to be like that, like it has been cut out of something and not matching the bottom?

    But the euro equivalent of £1299 5 years ago was £970, so if you paid £800 it has gone up 20% in 5 years. Just we trashed our money a few years back.

    Maybe it was 2 minutes to midnight when they recorded it, although then the last chorus should be a few minutes past midnight.

    My indie Tribal? Yes, its a bit overboard. Its a bit tatty too but it was cheap. Its my main goto guitar, just because it is so solid.

    I have a cordless and a corded copy of a dremel. The corded one is great. The cordless one, well it is easy to use away from the power, but nowhere near as useful as the corded one. and tbh, I never really need to do much away from power!

    Interesting that the branding has been removed from the ibanez (and it is a japanese one rather than a korean!).

    At the moment all I want to do is get rid of stuff. I am happy with what I have (or what I will have when bax get back to me), and have decided to reduce some of the other things. Have a few basses to get rid of, a few guitars, probably a keyboard and a master keyboard, and a couple of amps, and then I will be happy. For a while!

    It is. I guess I should just play it with one of the guitar straps I have and see if it is ok like that. It is actually lighter than a few guitars I have.

    Yeh, been trying to get a strap for it that sort of goes. Couch have failed me, there is a nice (expensive) vegan one on etsy, but it is only 2" wide which seems a bit narrow for a bass.

    Its hard to work out the uncoolest thing in that video though isn't it? The acoustic guitarist needed a bit more practice with that dance. I presume that the thunderbird was made for country music? Same as the flying V and explorer (and moderne)

    Yes, they are far different than I was expecting, they are obviously not P2 sizes but they are a lot more agressive than i was expecting, and apart from volume differences, quite close to the US barts

    I liked teh Roger Waters P for a P bass, on the basis it was a nice colour scheme, couldn't care if it was a roger waters one, I mean he wasn't exactly a bass genius was he!

    History. I have this relationship with books. I buy them, I put them down, they gather dust. I love the idea of books, just the practicalities of actually reading them.

    The lull is good, the jackson not so much. Trouble is the headstock on the thunderbird is always going to be bad. I think lull got it right there, although high fret access and lack of the 5th string are always going to be an issue for me.
