As someone who didn't at the start of the thread and now keeps track of some things, it occured to me that having something where I can make a note of when I changed the strings or the battery on a bass is actually valuable, because it answered a problem I had thinking when I had last changed a battery in a bass or which strings I liked - the strings on the bongo sound better than the strings on the ibanez - is that because of the instruments themselves, or is it that one of them is NYXL and one of them is the coated markbass, I think it is but I can't remember which one had which strings. One of the basses also had GHS Boomers on them which I was given, which one was that, and how do they stack up?
Its not everything, the other stuff like keyboards I don't need to keep track of, I can see them, and they are insured
