I think we can pretty well assume that she isn't trying to fool herself.

May be of use to McMillen 12 Step owners

Seems very much that you have your desktop scaling set to something higher than 100%, windows is a bit shit with that sort of thing. Temporarily put it to 100% in the display control panel, and I guess it will probably work. -
Take a little detour onto Youtube and do a search for Tori Holub - maybe weve only just begun.

What are you listening to right now?

This - I was not sure what to expect, I didn't expect this -
Oh I think it is worth having (and under £5 does it even matter). Just for me it is an emergency backup. In general when I am playing live it is only the EQ I set up with the iPad, I use a physical surface to change levels, just easy to grab when you are playing. But 100s of gigs in, it has never let me down or caused any trouble, one of the most reliable bits of equipment I have used

Me too, and with both. Think it was £7 last time I saw them with ozzy.
-
There certainly is, its on the front on the right, opposite the jack and conveniently obvious enough to occasionaly plug in accidently!
-
Favoured by some, I never got on with it. I have it as a backup as it works on the phone which XAir doesn't. but I always did prefer XAir to set it up.

So does that say that it is not good at filter or synth?

I don't think it really matters how good / bad they are, with any of these gigs, its just an event. No he is not going to be as 'good' as the 90s or the 80s, but I don't think that is the point, and in all of these farewell concerts there is an implicit 'considering' on the 'They were really good'.

Budget On-board Pre-amp Recommendations
Woodinblack replied to Sean's topic in Repairs and Technical
I found that, they are noise amplifiers so you have to be careful with their shielding -
I wouldn't have called it stupid, it was clever and required skill although I found it dull to the point of wanting the song to start, actually less exciting than the first one, (which wasn't exciting at all, but more fitting). It was good for a bass demo, but not good for a song. The 3rd one sounded like you had just attended a bass guitar expo..

What will a tariff war do to instrument prices ?
Woodinblack replied to edstraker123's topic in General Discussion
Well after a while that will just because the price of US products, so maybe it will settle then. I mean the recent price of a lot of american instruments is pretty crazy, so if that goes up by 25%, obviously noone would get them at the time, but after a while are people not going to say 'oh that is the going price of an american P' or something? -
Yes, very easily, then you have two chains, can process both sides separately, and then join the back together (assuming you want a single output)

I am guessing that within the US, they will stop selling the mexican and chinese squiers, and instead sell the indonesian built ones, its quite easy to get round a blunt tool like a tariff if you have a large manufacturing base, although I assume that will make the prices in the US go up either way. In canada I am guessing the prices of all american instruments are going to fall drastically, so maybe dingwall can start concentrating on super Ps and Super Js! Maybe the price of mex squiers will go down a bit around the rest of the world as the americans won't be buying them? Hard to tell. It really is going to affect fender quite heavily as the two factories are only a few hours from each other. I guess it depends on what he does with tarrifs in other places that will affect us here. -
I did the updates that were recommended yesterday, but don't know if that has updated anything yet, its too early and I have no way of knowing if those people wjho don't get email still don't get email, I have no been able to establish a pattern about those who don't get it as I get all updates on any email address I have tried and haven't since marking my first email from here as not spam, so not sure how to proceed
