  1. Yep, always, its my only thing on my pedalboard these days (and the keyboard). I did a new patch last night as the sample player used to come out of channel 2 and bass came out of channel 1, but I thought as someone else was doing the sound, I would put the output of the sample on 1 as well to go through my amp, and at the same time, I put a chorus on there for 'Who knew' as well.
  2. Today at a festival in Dorset, gagglefest (due to it being the gaggle of geese). Did an hour between 2-3pm, when it threatened to rain but didn't so people could sit out. it was a bit early, had some dancing but not as much as you would get later. Were told that the venue were laying on a PA with a sort of implication it was a PA company, but turned out that one of the other bands from later were putting on the PA, and it was considerably smaller than ours! Last year a group laid the PA on and it was massive. this time there wasn't any micing for the drums and no monitoring, so couldn't hear anything. Sort of sounded ok out the front with no real drumming. Still, I didn't have to worry about it and it was nice being like the guitarist for once and just turning up with an amp, pedalboard and bass. But my bass was pretty clear, so that was nice! Still, got to love a full paying 1 hour gig in the afternoon where you can get home before the shops shut and have food at home!
  3. Yes, there is a size limit of 500MB per account. In general it is quite a lot but it goes quite fast now when people upload things straight from their phones so what seem to be quite small images take up a lot of space. As others have said, trim unused images in your attachments and you will probably have room
  4. Just easy to make an amp with a proper centre zero voltage, rather than one made by making a half 4.5 rail on a 9v system. Doesn't have to be 18v, the original ibanez actives are 2 1.5V but 9v are convenient battery size.
  5. Sadly very familiar with this!
  6. I carry one of those in my bag at all times. It is a great thing, even if it has a tendancy to switch itself on in a bag, but at least the batteries last well. It does also have a signal generator too.
  7. Note the Nord big splits as used on the EHBs fit and look exactly the same as the big singles in the premiums, if you wanted to change.
  8. I will also bring my Bongo as I remember when I wanted to try one there were none around. Maybe there would be interest in bringing the dwarf too and a screen so people can see what that is like to set one of those up?
  9. I hate those - I guess we all do. But that is just the way of gigging, sometimes it just doesn't work.
  10. SLX4 base <- SLX1 sender its always been a problem.
  11. Is there an oportunity to haggle on that a bit, see if you can get it down to a tenner - I mean the paint is coming off!
  12. The VG system in that case was designed due to Rolands dislike of people who didn't wear shoes. The edges are purposely sharpened for that reason!
  13. Apart from outdoor venues, I have never played in any venue where our drummer couldn't be heard by anyone standing outside the venue louder than the rest of the band without any amplification! But we always do the bass drum as it makes him happy.
  14. can you edit the title to put sold in it then please
  15. Agreed it is not nice, but it is not like you didn't have justification for it. Things go wrong sometimes, although seems very wrong in this case, but it is up to the company to try and resolve those difficulties and keep their customers informed. I mean if they told you it was taking 12 months and it went past 18 months, they should have at the very least offered a refund in that time if you werent' happy with the delay But they didn't for whatever the reason. Its one thing to trash someone elses reputation, its something entirely different to trash your own.
  16. FInally one of their posts was the truth!
  17. Wrong spacing though - that is 18mm, the bongo is 17.5, and I certainly wouldn't want to go wider. Just find it a bit odd, almost all bongos made now have black hardware, so not sure why there aren't black replacements.
  18. I would say best to wait for second hand, but then if they can't deliver anything, I guess there can't be any second hand ones!
  19. Yes, I guess that could work. Its odd they aren't spare parts!
  20. What awful treatment they have given you. Its a shame, it is a company that i would be interested in the output off, but I wouldn't touch them with a bargepole now, and I am guessing that most people wouldn't.
  21. Its just a launch of the web page, its not an app, so it is the web browser crashing.
  22. Ooh a firebird VII like I said about in the 'what do you want' thread.
  23. I think most of my aliexpress orders have come in at pretty well when they said,.
  24. Although everything can have an argument, I am not sure I see what the argument for wireless for pub gigs is. The wireless costs less than £50, means I don't tread on any leads, I can go out the front and the end of the hall to check on levels at setup, and I can wander around. I am not sure I am seeing any downside there?
