  1. I am sure they don't when they see the price
  2. Well, weight might be a decider!
  3. Well, combined effects really, when I was young drugs made my playing absolutely fantastic, I mean it sounded brilliant, it was so good. Sadly it also made all local tape recorders malfunction so listening back to recordings made at the time made me sound like I was playing really badly! I mean, I know I wasn't, it sounded great to me, so I don't know what was going on there.
  4. We are down quitea few bookings this year, although a large amount of that is the singer being signed off for quite a few weekends due to a new child. I think it might be time to find something else to be doing as well
  5. Isn't that how all single coils work when in a wired house?
  6. Simple - a lot of people who saw them have now unseen them and forgotten!
  7. Make All Guitarists Aliens?
  8. If the tone is acting like a volume it means that the capacitor is shorted, to big a value or the wiring around the capacitor is shorted. Buzz out the tone pot between the centre and earth and check that the level doesn't change when you alter the tone pot
  9. A quick google shows me https://bassbootcamp.com/bass-bootcamp-expo/ Probably better doing a search before ranting that there aren't any There seem to be quite a lot of bass only events in the US and even more guitar events that have a bass event tacked on. You seem to be quite well served for them.
  10. Most of mine are, but all of them can be, different basses have different levels and how fast the echo needs to be on whole lotta love depends on how fast the drummer has decided to play it! Also, I often make a mental note to change something on a gig, but then forget almost immediately until the next time I play that song on a gig.
  11. That says get a better teacher. When I was young I did piano lessons, which was all the old classics, and I was good but got bored. Ultimately my teacher went a bit mad, and my mum was concerned she was dangerously so, so I moved to a different teacher. The first thing that teacher asked me was 'what is it that you want to play', which is nothing that had been asked before, so I went through the keyboard parts of plenty of rock songs and it was great.
  12. I have a processor board on my desk at this very moment to impliment midi on the ToneXOne, but wouldn't want to make a habit of it! You know, I have never bothered with that - I just go straight into the desk with a jack plug, fine if you are not a long way away
  13. Useful if it has midi - doesn't see if it does on the Andertons oagem otherwise a computer editable thing over not so useful live
  14. Not exactly revolutionary though, there are a lot of those '1000 effects in a cheap box' things around, it depends on the box, and ultimately what is that giving you that a zoom b1-4 isn't?
  15. Would never happen. I have had lesson, I ended up developing a style which was my own but more consistant and more flexible. But I still sound like me. Its like driving lessons, you still go to where you want to go, you just don't crash on the way!
  16. No, if you delete them from your attachments, they should be gone
  17. I thought so - so I am thinking of changing my Dwarf pedalboards to just be effects, and use the tonex on the output as the amp sim, then straight to the PA. I have a midi controller controlling the dwarf now, as I had an issue switching pedalboards live (not often but when I did I really did!)
  18. This is true, although for the price of one of those you can get two of the mini ones and have them doing different things!
  19. https://github.com/Builty/TonexOneController The project there, plus videos and options
  20. I picked up a little processor board for £4 - there is a project which bridges the ToneX One usb with midi, so as I have a midi controller on my board, for my dwarf, I will also be able to bluetooth midi to the ToneX One and switch between any of the built in 20 presets live. That sounded like a good thing!
  21. I spent quite a while on saturday trying to get mail reliable, and it has been setup, but I suspect there are some issues because the server address has changed. I know when I was testing to my gmail account nothing was getting through. Then I went to gmail online and found they were in my spam folder, since I marked those I have got all my PMs and alerts fine. There are no bounce reports in the logs, so I I am not sure other than the spam how some gmail and some hotmail accounts aren't getting in. Please check your spam folders (esp - online with the big web ones)
  22. Not sure what the obvious reasons are, there are no way to edit a post once you have sold something (and they are handy there for reference), but if you feel you have to delete them, yes, you can remove them from your attachments.
  23. True, I often get an advert for a shop clearing out Gibson Les Pauls for £200.. but I never fell for it, I mean, what happens if I gave them £200 and I ended up with a Gibson Les Paul!!
  24. You commented on the 'Deffo not a scam website' - which is the website I commented on which is selling everything for £42, I don't know what site you are reffering to
