  1. I really can't find anything like this anywhere - have you tried a different browser? Can anyone else see anything like this anywhere?
  2. I can't see anything wrong on that page - what is it exactly you are seeing that is wrong there? Where is that 'featured videos' appearing? nothing appears for me.
  3. Can you give us a link to a thread where this has happened?
  4. Me and the drummer often do this, noone has joined in yet though, the rest of our band dont. It is such a great bass line to play though!
  5. Its not a fender misspelling - it is the name of Mr Victor Carroll Squier, who I guess knew how to spell his own name, especially as his girls middle name is also spelt* incorrectly * deliberate british english form of spelled. But on the main point, of course fenders cost too much for what they are, but they have to support a company and people buy them, so I guess they aren't too much after all. Tune in for next weeks episode, "Are rickenbackers good value for money?"
  6. If you are buying them from the official store, they aren't going to be fakes! Chinese companies do fake other chinese companies products, but aliexpress and the like are getting better at stopping it.
  7. Never paid import tax on aliexpress from a genuine shop. My original ZS10s replaced my SE215s which were left as a backup, and for some reason now I need a backup seem to have gone! never had any issue, but you have to be careful. Same as eBay or amazon buyers etc
  8. I have had a THR-10 which was good, especially the battery, but limited on effects, good solid basics though. I have a spark now and that sits next to me. For practice at any sort of volume it isn't particularly good on bass but good at lower volume and fine in on headphones it is great - also has the whole effects and software for playing along with stuff which really lift it out of being just an amp.
  9. I remember those days, I don't think the group I am in has ever done that short. At minimum we do 2 hours, at maximum it is 3 hours with a 15 minute break. Most of the time it is two hour and ¼ sets.
  10. I think our guitarist is in the same thing - he really enjoys group practice, but not really gigging, so he is now leaving, the rest of us are the opposite of that and it isn't something you can compromise on!
  11. Yes Indeed - an ExFat drive will work on both machines, and is the best way to get compatibility between them for very little trade off (that matters on a removable drive)
  12. If there is enough space on the new machine, just copy it out, reformat it and put the files back. you are right, it doesn't write to NTFS, that is a microsoft propriatary licensed format.
  13. Why? HDMI is almost 20 years old. However, the EMU interface is down to them not making drivers for it, you cant use 32 bit drivers on a 64 bit system on the mac. The hard drive you can just convert on the PC to something other than NTFS.
  14. Yes, I got them from another shop, several others had them at about the same price, so I just picked the quickest shipping one with the best feedback on the highest sales. aparently with me in a few weeks
  15. Thanks - makes sense - I had a KZ ZS10 before and I liked those. In fact I only realise how much I like those having to go back to something else!
  16. They already have their discounts in ali express, but I kind of got overloaded with the number of products - which are the better ones, which are the junk? They seem to go from a fiver to £70, at what point are they worth it.
  17. At our recent bass bash the RST was pretty well the lightest thing there, it is really remarkably light (especialy if you then go to the euro, which is most certainly not lightweight!) I would go for a quality make such as Switchraft (and it is an output socket, often known as a switchraft stereo barrel jack socket)
  18. I have a stand and an endpin - can't imagine I would use the endpin much though as if I was playing it it would have to be as well as the bass
  19. Technically 2, Come Together, which we don't play often as it is quite dull (handy for filler some places), and Twist and Shout, which isn't technically a beatles song, but sort of is.
  20. In my experience, comments from group 2 are more interested in the gear you play and reasonably positive.
  21. Yeh, i guess.. well I had some ZXs and they were great, but I am sure they were just ZX10s - I just want a set that work as well as those.
  22. Ooh - handy - I seem to have lost my KZs and the replacements I have are not good. Why are there so many models? Which KZ models are better for IEMs than the others?
  23. I enjoy mine and am ok with the sound, but I haven't got (or want) an actual DB so nothing to compare it to. As happy jack says though, in many cases it is mostly down to the image, on stage most bass like things can make most bass like noises. I haven't used mine live yet, will give it a try at some point!
