The Rickenbacker police have taken it away. No suprise there

That last one was without a doubt the most stunning copy I've seen yet. I love the finish. And for the record. Anyone willing to spend that kinda money on an instrument that's so unversatile is a fool. How does Rickenbacker think they're going to attract younger musicians? Your average young guitarist isn't gonna spend a couple of hundred on a Rick when they can get a more versatile Fender or Gibson or whatever for less.

Yeah, I spotted that earlier in the week. I thought HOW MUCH?? I found another Greco on an Aussie site - wanted the best of £900 for it with the currency converted. Silly silly money. I would say I'd buy a real one sooner... however I have a moral hate of John Hall for his supreme lack of business sense. Every company no matter how prestigious has to have entry level products, especially now with todays consumer society. Why not join the competitors in having an import series? It didn't do Gretsch any harm!

I am indeed. I'm a huge Manics fan hence the leopard print. I've also got a white Les Paul Custom (being primarily a guitarist). That Italia is a nice solid bit of kit, lovely sound, comfortable to play and hold up nicely (some idiot splashed a pint over me when I was giging not long back and it was unphased)

I actually like the pickup appointment on that. Colours not to my taste tho, baby pink is a bit TOO girly for me... this coming from a person who owns these arguably girly instruments:
