4.
It's a pity that they didn't put an aluminium neck on it too. I love my all-aluminium hollowbody. http://www.flickr.com/photos/dangerboycrea...57603263405555/ I wonder if all those rivets mean that there's a wooden core running through the body with the bridge, pickups etc bolted to it.
I've got the six string version - it's completely hollow. There's a pair of rails running through the body. Infact have a look at this video, it explains it far better than I can. I've not tried the bass but I bought a six string with a one off copper relic finish sight unseen, I'll never regret it cos it's absolutely beautiful in every way. 5. As Bachman Turner Overdrive said... you ain't seen NOTHING yet. Check this bad boy out - the Normandy archtop bass. Yes... that's Aluminium - chromed. Handmade in Oregen in the US, I'm lucky enough to own the guitar version in a different finish (a one off unpolished copper relic version) Craftmanship is second to none on them, really beautiful instruments!
 6. Love the shape of the Les Paul bass (down to me starting life out as a guitarist who loves Les Pauls) My first bass is an Epiphone Les Paul bass. Balances very nicely, plays superbly, the aesthetics are a little underwhelming to some but I remedied it with some leopard print fur stuck to the front As mentioned the pickups quite frankly are absolute rubbish... luckily at the time I was playing through a Trace so I could get over that. Very reliable basses mind, I absolutely abused mine - throwing it about and generally being a heavy handed clot! It's still solid as a rock and I could never part with it I've never tried a Gibson version but I know a friend of mine has one and I've heard it... does sound rather lovely sort of a cross between a Thunderbird and an EB3. They look stunning, especially the ones with the selector switch! I remember a few years back lusting over a white copy, a Greco I think - exactly like the Gibson switch version but in the Les Paul Custom colours. Stunning! Definitely consider an Epi though, if you can change the pickups you're onto a winner for sure.
 7. In the Summertime by Mungo Jerry would be awesome!

 10. It's a lovely old rack effects unit from the mid 90s I managed to grab off ebay. Nice bit of kit although some of the effects are a little 80s, I only wanted it for that lovely Mesa Driven tube overdrive anyway. Isn't that gig sold out? Tickets only I heard.
Tidy, come and chuck things at me on New Years Day in Merthyr! Valve powered Zoom...what's that then???
11. I'm great I'll have to come to a gig soon and catch up. I was on the hunt for distortion but I've got a lovely rack mounted valve powered zoom now. That'll sell well at that price mind!

 13. Ah bugger, I'd have had those for my Vintage Jase Hope you're well
 14.
Do you think an Explorer bass would fit in it?? Been after one but cant find one anywhere!!! Paul
I bought a Ritter Mockingbird bass gig bag, fits perfectly!
 15. That looks really handy! Where can I get one?
 16.
man if i could sell it straight after i play that would be rad
I shall see, I've got my eyes on a Gibbo but if that falls through I could be interested. I'm gassing for another T-Bird ya see.
 17.
it's in ex condition. i've just bought it from a friend because i'm doing motley crue for my local pub's stars in their eyes charity show on the 19th of this month. so after then it's available. i've moved the bridge end strap button up but other than that it's unmodded. it comes with a hardcase, straplocks and a wide strap. £140 ono edit: i'll get some pics up soon
Ah it's your band doing that thing in Le Pub! Sweet dude, I'm hoping I can get there... if I do I could be seriously tempted to take that T-Bird off your hands haha
