    Another dodgy roadside deal done today (people are going to start and talk 😉) and I bought Colin’s stunning Ibanez SR. Another Basschat gem, deal with confidence. Top bloke.

    I normally have a couple of half stack Marshall’s to contend with so things can get loud. I had to sell a load of my gear including my Big Twin to pay for moving home so I’ve actually taken a back step (as some may see it) and bought another fantastic Trace rig that Mr @pburrows kindly sold to me yesterday. I’m using my rig as my core sound and the Helix will be used for adding the sprinkles to the cake so to speak. @jrixn1 we did a gig last year and I tried to get the bass put through the powered wedges and you are right I struggled to hear myself and it just didn’t sound or feel right. Maybe a couple of higher quality monitors would work better but for now I’m more than happy with the route I’ve taken.

    This was my first proper gigging bass amp. As it happens fast forward a good 8 years and I’ve gone full circle and just bought the rack mounted version, I’ve tried everything else and nothing comes close to the old Trace. Enjoy.

    Drove over to Phill’s house today to buy his phenomenal Trace rig. Great bloke, very helpful and a pleasure to do business with. Look forward to seeing you guys out on the road soon.

    You’ve got to try them out Jon, looks a great head. House move was chaotic but we’re getting there now. Used the EBS at rehearsal through the studios Ashdown 810 last Monday, sounded great. Sold my Big Twin to pay for removals so am currently cab less. On the lookout for something else to go with the EBS but in no rush as not gigging until April. Hope you’re well mate.

    Chris bought my Barefaced cab over the weekend. He dropped me a pm and within half an hour he was on my doorstep. Another gem of Basschat can’t recommend enough. Apologies again that we were surrounded by boxes from moving house mate. Enjoy your cab

    Very reluctant sale but due to not gigging for a while and an imminent house move I need to raise some funds to pay for removals. Single cab solution, big enough for any gig and unbelievably you can carry this cab with one hand. Fantastic condition throughout with just a tiny mark at the bottom of the cab as shown in pics. I have the paint to touch this up passed on from the previous owner which was sent from Barefaced themselves but never got round to doing it. Used the pics from the top chap I traded it with on here as I can’t seem to get a clear day with the weather we’re having lately. No trades, got too much stuff already so cash on collection or possible meet. Open to any sensible offers.

    Unaware until now that this is my second dealing with Jon but this time face to face. Met Jon and his lovely Mrs at a service station today to buy his EBS head. All arranged super quick and he even sent a vid of the head in action before we met up. True gent of Basschat hope to deal with again soon 😊

    Putting my Darkglass head up for sale as since I bought a Helix I’m no longer using it to its full potential, just been running it as a power amp. Great head, loads of headroom and the Microtubes engine is top notch. Gigged but in great condition. Comes with a protective case, intelligent footswitch, kettle lead, original box and a speakon lead. Collection only or possible meet. Any questions fire away 😊

    Sold my Boss LS2 to Si. He made payment upfront, postage was super quick for the Christmas break, and he is very happy with his purchase. Pleasure to deal with and another highly recommended Basschatter. Enjoy the pedal Si.
