  2. Please accept an apologetic BUMP from me.
  3. Bump. £1100; plus postage. I'll post it anywhere. I can also deliver within 50 mile radius of Chester.
  4. Hi Nik. PM sent. could you send me details? Ta vin
  5. PMd Hopefully for the last time......
  6. Thanks for that and sorry if I appeared to cast doubt on the quality of your amp. I guess once bitten twice shy sometimes. The tech I had look at mine reckoned that the cooling circuit was underpowered for the bridged mode capability but as you say maybe the 2x10 red eye combo wasn't their best........ I was thinking of teaming an Eden Navigator preamp with a power amp. I run into a purple chilli 800w 4 ohm cab. Do you think the Carvin would suit the job? Thanks
  7. PM in the inbox again....
  8. Hi. Being carvin do you have any reliability issues? Particularly when bridged? I had a red eye combo that overheated in bridged mode. Thanks Vin
  9. Bump at £1100. Can deliver within 50 mile radius of Chester
  10. Sorry. PMd again.
  11. Thank you. It's a fine bass and plays like a dream. Shame I need to let it go but if I'm not playing I can't justify keeping such an expensive bass.......
  12. Bump. Part exchange for cheaper jazz bass considered.
  13. Fancy a modulus vj4 with East preamp upgrade? Mines up at £1250 but I have long fancied a thunderbird but can't bring myself to own an epiphone. ....
  14. Sunday bump with a price reduction to £1250.
  15. Bump. Still available may be open to offers. Please PM me if interested.
  16. Free bump now I have the Internet.......
  17. It's been a great bass, served me well and had comments on the looks and the tone everywhere I gig. Shame I'm not able to play at the mo otherwise it would be staying. Bump
  18. Price drop to £1100 Up for sale is my magnificent 2003 Modulus VJ4 active bass. It has a 22 fret graphite neck, 1/4" quilt maple top with transluscent red finish, bartolini jazz pickups and has an upgraded preamp to a John East 3 pot 3 band U retro which gives volume, blend, bass, treble, brightness boost, mid frequency / mid control and blendcswitch in active mode plus it has passive bypass which provides volume and pick up selector in passive mode. It will come in a quality hard case. It is a simply superb bass giving amazing sustain and note clarity. It has more punch than a jazz bass and has that lovely crisp tone from a graphite neck. It plays superbly with good low action, very little fret wear having had a recent set up It has a few very minor nicks on it not affecting looks or playability. There is one filled nick on the top side of the neck. A little ding of the phenolic layer over the graphite. It is smooth now and cannot be felt when playing anyway as it is out of the playing position. This was my main gigging bass for a few years but since illness in January I've had to stop playing for a while so such a great and valuable bass needs a new owner. I will send to pretty much anywhere but please check first as postage and insurance prices may be prohibitive. Collection can be arranged from near delamere. I can also meet up within a 50 mile radius from Northwich. Thanks for looking
