Johnnie Walker's last radio show now on BBC R2

I remember when he first left the Beeb. We skidged school at my mate's house to hear his last show in it's entirety. He finished up with "Going to California" by Zep, as that was where he was bound. I loved when he returned. I can't remember the title of his book, but that was a good read -
It was one of the limited 30th Anniversary jobs, with a wenge fingerboard and cocobolo top. I bought it new from Gear4Music. They also had an identical 5 string in at the time.

I honestly shouldn't try to speed read these days. I'm getting as blind as a bat I obviously hadn't finished paying for it at that point, so they were holding out on the B string

May have been mine at one point. I've forgotten who I sold it to, though Edinburgh seems to ring a bell

I still regret selling my 1305

If I could get a SS Sterling Stingray in white, with white scratchplate, and rosewood fingerboard with a LOW action and good setup, I would pounce on it. I had a SH one from Bass Direct that I moved on here that I couldn't get to go low enough, otherwise I would have kept it. Even Mrs 2pods loved the look of it. -
This reminds me of the Aria Cardinal from the Late 70s/early 80s Very nice bass. GLWTS

Now I'm not sure. The one I thought you had was a kind of a pearlescent front, with wood layers. It also had gold hardware (I'm not that fond of it, but it suited the bass) Nice basses though. I thought it was yourself that had it. Maybe not. I think the profile pic was a Liverbird ?
