  1. I miss mine, but have too much on just now, or I would have snapped this up. Very versatile for all instruments, but the bass sounds are great. Have a bump instead GLWTS
  2. I'm going to try a DIY approach with a SA EQ2 for the graphic(it has 2 graphics) I can either run the the first EQ and 2nd EQ in series for a "full" Trace Graphic, or use first EQ as the Trace graphic, and the 2nd EQ as either one of the pre shapes, again in series. It's a bit convoluted, but I'm looking forward to trying it.
  3. An absolute bargain for somebody. #I wish I was in collecting distance BTW It's an "Artist" The should pickups should be Super 60's. v. nice
  4. You know you want to .....😈
  5. I thought that was the classic Trace sound ? SMX amps had two pre shapes. The classic, and (I think, but I'm sure someone will correct me as I can't remember ) an upper mid boost ?
  6. I have the Cocobolo top version. Really good basses. Barring disaster, I'm keeping mine GLWTS
  7. I loved mine. I only sold it because I no longer had the Helix, but as was said, it's a bloomin' good guitar in it's own right. Must resist. sees last month's CC statement. Resisted.....................................................................just
  8. Why is this still here ? Absolute giveaway Have a bump
  9. Also willing for buyer to arrange collection at their own risk, but it will be very well packed.
  10. Can post it, if I can arrange some insurance ? Parcelforce and most others will only insure musical instruments for loss, not damage. Even then it's only £100. ISTR one of us getting separate insurance from some one other than the carrier, so I could look into that. It will be very well packed either way.
  11. What do folks use for roundwounds on their Short Scale Sterling Stingrays ? Mine came with totally dead strings, so needs a new set. It was bought second hand, so I expected it, but don't have a clue if this uses a short scale set, or just cut down long scales ?
  12. As it's one in, one out now, my lovely Ibanez SRH500F has to go. It is really in mint condition, having been bought last year, played in our non smoking home only. It's a semi-hollow, fretless Soundgear with a bridge with individual Piezo pickups built in, along with volume and tone. Side dots are where they should be for a fretless, and offset fretboard markers at the top side of the bound Panga Panga fingerboard, which is also lined. However the lines are black, and I can't see them unless I'm looking for them. Belt and Braces ? Body is Okoume, with a Spruce top, with a contoured heel and arm rest. Neck is SRH45pc Jatoba/Walnut with a width of 38mm at the nut, and 62mm at 24th fret. It plays great, with the supplied D'Addario ECB81-5 Flatwound Strings and Ibanez's AeroSilk Piezo bridge doing a great double bass sound, and there's Mwah if you want it. Individual string Piezo volume can be adjusted on the back of the bass It didn't come with a case, but I bought a really good copy of the Ibanez case that comes with the Premium range, and I'll throw that in with it. Price is currently £699 new @ Andertons with no case, or bag, just a cardboard box. So hopefully, given the "as new" condition, and including the case, I'm in the right ballpark. I'm prepared to post, as I have a couple of bass boxes, but only at the buyer's postage and insurance expense. Paypal, bank transfer (must be showing in my account), or cash on collection. Any questions, just ask
  13. You could try Promenade Music ? I got my Mini CM 121P IV from.
  14. I'm a bit lost. Is the Warwick for sale too ?
  15. Try DV24. I asked GG to match their quote, which they did. I'd love to keep the SRH500F, but I have too many basses, and I'm not gigging now. Hence Mrs 2pods new rule (I think I'll count her shoes later, "Imelda !" )
  16. Been after one of these for ages, but every time one came up, I was either skint or needed something more urgently. But now, thanks to GuitarGuitar, I finally have one, and I must say, it has all the tones I had in my head. It's very easy to dial in Messiers Giblin, Thompson, Pino type sounds, and just as easy to make it sound like a "normal" bass. Obviously, the two magnetic pickup volumes and their active bass and treble eq, the Piezo volume and tone, make it a very, versatile bass with Mwah to die for. Construction is nice. All round and smooth, though because of the extended cutaway and finger (arm length, more like) board, I was playing one position up at first The only thing is now I'll probably get rid of my Ibby SRH500F even though it sounds more double bass-like, as We are now operating a "One in, One out" policy. So I've been told
  17. Forget the Audio Interface. I'm definitely out. Ibanez SRF700 Portamento arrived yesterday.
