Rock solid, with great drivers, and very fast. I love mine, GLWTS -
I too got fed up with Cubase, despite using it since the Atari ST version. Now using Presonus Studio One 5 (though I believe v6 is out, or about to drop) You can be as easy to use as you like, but it also has the power to match Cubase. Worth a look.

This will sound daft, but what increments are we talking about for the saddle, quarter of an inch, less. more ?

Not long bought this used SR600E from GG. Really like it, but there are a couple of things puzzling me. I'll ask about the second one, once I get this sorted out. First up is the intonation. I thought the strings were a bit stiff the way it was setup, but truss rod looked ok, as did the nut. I'd decided I wanted lighter strings on this anyway, as I didn't like the feel of the (presumably) 105 - 45s, so bought a set of EB Hyper Slinky (100-80-60-40). Put them on, tuned up stretched them thoroughly etc, came to do the intonation to discover all the strings sounded flat. I think the original strings weren't set properly either, even though their blurb said it was, though every other guitar I've bought from them was. This is the first time I've ever had to intonate a bass before, though I'm familiar with the principals etc, but I wondered, is it normal for all 4 saddles to be flat with a string gauge of nearly the same?

NBD SR600E Bought used from "Guitar Guitar", really like it though the pickups are licenced Nordy "Big Breaks which sound a bit different to the original Nordy "Big Singles" on my SR30th Premium and SR1305 Premium, even though it seems to have the same EQ circuit. I'll put a set of 100-40 rounds on it and drop the saddles slightly, as the nut and relief seem fine. it's also currently sporting a Roland GRKB pick up, which was one of the reasons I bought it, as I can't bring myself to put it on the SR1300 despite constantly threatening to sell/swap for a 4 string

possible screws or bolts ? I've seen that kind of repair and reinforcement on a few acoustics. -
It seems to be at the courier's discretion, as it's their standard get out clause in all their bumph. I usually go for double boxing with plenty of bubblewrap. So far I've been lucky...

But what about packaging ? Quite a few couriers have used the "not packed securely enough" thing, and it's them who judge the worthiness of the packaging

IIRC Window Tax was a old time thing about how many windows your house/premises had. You can still see a lot of bricked up windows in older buildings to avoid paying it. HTH Dave ?

a few questions re FI I had a Deep Impact all those years and quite fancied a FI. I just missed out on one in the improved case (which I think I'd prefer). Before putting a wanted ad up can I ask: Does it come with it's own PSU ? What's the going rate for a re-cased one v the Original ? Apart from the software, is there any difference in the cases between v1 to v1.3 ?
