  1. +1 for the Nordy's . I have a 30th Anniversary SGR with same and same circuit. Sound brilliant. Lovely bass
  2. What's not to like for a solid Jap bass.........Finally removed GK3B pickup. All that's left behind is the two screw holes between the bridge and the pickup. New pics sans GK-3B are at the end of this post Late 1970s Aria TSB350 32" medium scale Bass. Made by Matsumoku in Japan. Body is Ash, neck is maple, and fingerboard is rosewood. Fitted with a single MBIII pickup, tone and volume controls, and a Brass quick change bridge. The bass has a small but fashionable collection of dings, nearly all on the body and mostly scratches, but not even approaching relic status. Its in very good condition for its age. it's completely original. it weighs 5kg. Everything is working as it should. Unfortunately there is no case, but will be sent very heavily bubble wrapped in two hard wall boxes with plenty of packing. I'm willing to post anywhere on the UK mainland for £15 p&p. My user name is also 2pods on ebay, if you care to check my feedback. I have some here too. Here come the pics...........................
  3. I shall investigate. .....and I'll liberate my pics from Photobucket too !
  4. Thanks for upping the pics in the right order Ped. File Molester kept putting them up in the wrong order. I was reduced to going into edit, upping the file, saving, and repeat......
  5. Chris you are a life saver. At this rate I'll give up and just give you the bloomin' stuff Thanks. I've had a s**t day, a crap result last night. You have restored my faith in human Guiness Peter
  6. Some of them are just over 12 meg. Too big ?
  7. Our editor ? Won't that overload the server ?
  8. seem to be having a few problems with Photobucket. Some images are displaying, others aren't. Possibly 11 of them. Is there a limit to the links we can post ?
  9. Thanks Ped. My feedback on ebay is under 2pods, the same as on here, where there should also be some feedback as I've bought and sold stuff. Just in the process of uploading some (slightly) better pics, with a lower price, a couple of bundle ideas with my Bass controller...a 70's Matsumoku medium scale Aria TSB350 with installed GK2B pick up. Hopefully get this done today.
  10. Using Studio One with a Windows 7 laptop and a Windows 10 desktop. Hope this helps
  11. Roland VB99 V-Bass System The VG99 is in good condition. A couple of scratches (see pic) but otherwise very good. Works perfectly. Complete with power supply and long 13pin cable. No manual, but I think I have a pdf. If not its easily downloaded. Here £600 plus p&p for the VG99 I'm not playing much bass anymore, so its time it was moved from my desktop. Insured postage for mainland UK is included in the price This is a complete bass system with practically everything apart from the virtual bass models and bass to midi available for a "normal" bass without the GK-2B pick up. 200 user+200 user patches. D-Beam and Ribbon controllers, A+B Cosm bass models (GK2B required), A+B Cosm amp and cabs, 2 x tons of FX (8 in each row), 2 x mixers (Level, Pan, Delay, Reverb, Channel Delay, A-B Balance V-bass Level), Dynamic Channel Switching (e.g. play softly, get channel A. Play hard, get channel B and other stuff), Tuner, Bass to Midi (GK2B required). There is much, much, more and Ped has kindly offered to help out with any questions, but I suggest giving the manual a peruse. I'm willing to post insured to anywhere in the UK mainland, and I'll try and answer stuff my end. Excuse the dust. It was very sunny with a crap phone. The controller I've been using is a 1977-80, 32" medium scale Japanese Aria TSB350 made in the Matsumoku factory, with ash body, maple, neck, and rosewood fingerboard. Its own single MB III pickup, and volume and tone. The GK2A pickup is fitted just after the brass bridge. It shows its years with a number of dings and wee scratches that would be expected. T'will be up on "Basses for Sale" now as VB99 is sold. Here be pics.....
  12. Its a heavy one for its size even without weighing it, but unfortunately it has sold...........
  13. ......and I both bought and sold one all them years ago (late 70's - early 80's) in better nick than this for £50
  14. Thanks. I've not long sold a Thor-sound TSB550 too. That was in even better condition. I played one all through the 80s when I had it de-fretted and lined. I stupidly let it go, but I'll know it if I see it again. Re condition: You could always buy mine
  15. Selling old faithful Aria TSB650. Medium 32" scale with 5 ply Maple and Walnut straight through neck and Ash body. Fingerboard is thick rosewood with diamond shape inlays. This is the earlier 4 inline mini tuners headstock, before they changed to 2 aside, and before they changed the "Tri Sound" name to "Thor Sound". Controls are 2 x stacked tone and volume with 2 x "Dual Sound" mini switches, hence "Tri Sound". Everything is original and is in full working condition. There a a few dings and some wear but nothing serious, and its in great condition for its age. Its also on ebay, where my feedback can be viewed under 2pods, same as on here. P&P free if paying full amount.
