1. The funkiest, bluesiest, Little Feat (classic lineup with Lowell George) on the live "Waiting For Columbus" cd featuring Kenny Gradney on bass.
 2. Withdrawn as I've come to my senses, and with a bit of work and a set of D'Addarios on it's a keeper It's also gone up to £699 new eek !
 3.
I noticed a lack of luthiers up my way & had spotted these chaps earlier if you want it to add to your list... http://www.baileyguitars.co.uk/ They're based in Maybole in Fife but I know nowt about them. Have been considering building a bass with them tho. Anybody on here used them before (or even heard of em)?
I haven't heard of them before, but Maybole is in Ayrshire. The other coast from Fife There must be more up here surely ? I haven't had anything done to what I have left yet, so I can't help with a recommendation, apart from Jimmy Moon defretting an Aria TSB550 years ago. I heard he was concentrating on custom builds and no more repairs, but I'm well out of touch
 4. *Tumbleweed rolls by* *Kicks tumbleweed and it goes....* Bump!
 5. I've had this Ibanez SR1000FM Prestige since I gave up playing live, so it's hardly been used. However, it's recently started to become noisy when altering the eq controls (they're two dual concentric controls - Bass and Treble on one, Mid band and Boost/Cut on the other.). I've changed the battery, but no go. Everything looks OK inside, but the seems to be nowhere in the eq pots (which are way smaller than the volume and pan) to squirt switch cleaner. I can see something moving through a cutout in the pot when I'm moving the inner control, so should I treat it there ? It's a mystery to me. It was fine when I bought it, and it's hardly been used. Its kept in it's case in a cupboard which is not damp etc. Any ideas ?
 6.
what, nobody offer the injector kits?!? I thought SOMEONE would have one to trade, they're pretty common
It's dirty, filthy lucre I want It's just that Thornybank asked if there was anything I was looking for Actually C02 injection kits are way more common than e.g. an Akai "Deep Impact" (which I sold on here). If you don't ask, you don't get, and who knows what else could be lurking behind our fishtanks....err, I meant amps
 7.
I like these, but can only do a swap thing just now... ...any wants?
Well, mostly my visa bill down :-) Though any pressurised C02 injection kits for a tank may be taken in P/X ;-)
 8. I bought this Yamaha handcrafted LL16 all solid (Engleman Spruce top, Rosewood back and sides, 3 piece Mahogany and Rosewood neck) Dreadnaught new in March, but I haven't been playing it much. I think I'm more into cedar and rosewood, or spruce mahogany combos, and perhaps a smaller body. Anyway, it's still as new, never been outside etc, this was it new http://www.guitarampkeyboard.com/en/yamaha-ll16/66491 comes with the yamaha semi moulded "satchel" type case . It's still £550, so I'm looking for £300 + postage. Of course collection is free :-) If you want more pics, check out http://preview.tinyurl.com/dybx6p for 10240x768, or PM me for bigger ones. TIA

 10.
Stethescope, taped you your bass. The 'True Tone'. If you think that is silly, there is actually a procust that is effectively that called the butterfly or something.
I used to stick a set of Beyer DT100 into both an Ibanez PM1300, and my Stingray. Worked fine
 11. I don't know about their basses, but I sold the insides of my Variax 300 and kept the body as GK3 equipped controller. It was quite weird having a guitar with no visible pu's, but now I have one with holes where the controls and sockets where I quite liked the modelling (especially combined wit an XTLive), and I think the bass would be worth a punt at under £200
 12.
For sale Roland ready Strat, Black ,white scratchplate, rosewood neck. Also Roland VG8 £500 + p/p for the pair
Arrgh! Where was this when I was looking for mine ? Have a bump for a great guitar
 13.
potentially interested, is it this: http://www.zzounds.com/item--ECHGINA3G If not, is it midi as well as audio?
I don't know why the site didn't notify me about your reply, but anyway: It's the one before that one, with a breakout box with 2 jacks in and 8 jacks out on the box, which is connected to the card via a cable, with coax digital I/O on the card but no midi. Peter

 16. I like the one that came with my SR1000. Seems pretty solid, even compared to my old Hiscox.
 17. All that's left now is the very well regarded Echo Gina 20 bit 2 in/ 8 out PCI soundcard with digital I/O and breakout box. Works great with XP and vista Offers ? Peter
 18.
One of the reasons I got this was because when I switch from fingerstyle to slap mid song, my sound seems to disappear from the overall mix, despite endless tweaking with the mids and hi-mids, whereas Stingrays always seem to cut through very well and the slap sound is really nice on this one.
That was one of the reasons for me getting one. Incidentally, you prolly know this, but EB normally recommend adjusting the wheel of the truss rod for lowering/upping the action. (that was another reason I loved mine, the wheel is so accurate.). I originally put a wee spot of clear nail varnish on the centre of the wheel looking down at it, then slight turn either way, and Bob's your Uncle; and you know where to start again if the adjustment didn't work out/ My saddles only got used for adjusting intonation Hope you enjoy your 'ray
