1.
My 90's reissue DC Bass Fat Mike for the win...
Love it, really want a DC!
2. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Fender-Jazz-Bass-Special-/321297656979?pt=UK_Musical_Instruments_Guitars_CV&hash=item4aced52c93 If this stays cheap, which I'd be surprised at, it would be the bargain of the year, 2 days to go!
3.
Should have used a MacBook.
4. GAS!
5. Looks fairly badass to me!
6.
You know... tune up... check bass chat... listen to music... think "That's a cool bassline"... tune up to learn it... check bass chat... etc etc etc.
^^ This! Ahaha!
7. Sickening! Get your monies back ASAP and see the BassDoc for a new scratchplate (think he'd probably chuck some screws in FOC too!) and do as icastle suggested...
8. I put some Fender flats on my SUB, few weeks back, I had only played Rotosounds' Rounds before and I love my flats! I can seen my string tastes fluctuating but they feel and play brilliant, perfect for what I am trying to achieve!
9. Had my first every bass lesson today and Dan took my bass lesson virginity! He is a fantastic tutor and I am already looking forward to my next lesson. Such a friendly chap and a great tutor. I don't do class room environments but Dans studio is such a relaxing environment, as is his teaching methods. I would whole heartedly encourage beginners or seasoned pros to take up his services as the man is a genius!
10. That blue! Beautiful! Would seriously consider trading my white one for it...
11. +2 on Snark tuner.
12. Ashdown Five 15 Mini Rig
13. I agree, never been a fan of the usual style of 5 String MusicMans, but that is very appealing to the eye! Think I'll stick to a 4 Stringer though.
14. Legend! Hopefully lives on for many more years.
15. Can highly recommend Fender Flats, great tone, feel great and good tension.
16.
I seem to have acquired a second rig - the MB-2 sounds so good with the Super Flightcase that I think I'll have to buy it now :/
Absolutely stunning, should 100% be in the beautiful bass thread, if not already...
17. Finally put my Fender Flats on my SUB and they feel lovely. Tension is good and sound great. Would highly recommend!
18. Think I will see if I could merge these two designs for a split pup Precision Bass... http://www.soundmeout.com/store/images/Full%20shot.JPG and http://assets.fender.com/frl/f04d23e1728623f1807366d4d140c534/generated/86ceb3c861ac3d7b0737b2ccde488ca3.png Am I mad?
19. This is giving me serious GAS and expensive ideas! Just seen he's changed the pricing, starting price £20 on bidding.
20. Highly recommend Nile Rodgers' Le Freak. Anyone recommend Lemmy Kilmisters biography?
21. Would you consider a Sterling by MusicMan SUB Ray 4 for trade?

Gone

I guess it wasn't a Sterling by Musicman SUB Ray4 you were after? Love the Classic Vibe!
23. Thanks for the feedback everyone! Think I'm gonna go for it and see what happens...
24. I am on the hunt for a practice Combo and I have spotted this... http://www.gumtree.com/p/for-sale/ashdown-mag250-bass-amp-combo-faulty-sparesrepairs/1037820669#photo-content Obviously without a professional or seasoned DIY person viewing it, it is hard to judge on the condition and the issues, but I would value your opinions! Secondly, anyone know/from the Norwich area that specialize in Amps? I don't mind dabbling in electronics, but I don't want to make things worse or waste money! Thanks and I hope this is the correct section, Tony.
