7. Not as grand as these other choices but I've got some serious GAS for a Squier Classic P-Bass 50s in Butterscotch! New Vintage 2-Saddle Bridge, stress the chrome and Gold Pickguard... Time will tell...
8. Loving your relic'd 50s P-Bass Chap. Looks stunning, I was considering ash trays, mainly because I saw fenders custom job, would probably just go for the bridge cover, personally. I had assumed the pine wood hearsay was probably nonsense, just didn't have any recent confirmation. Thanks Buritto!
9. I'm gona do a huge bump! Anyone had much experience with the Squier 50s' P-Bass since this topic? How has the pine wood held up? Have you swapped the pups for something a bit stronger? Seriously considering swapping my SUB Ray4 for one, gona have a play on Tuesday... Tony.
10. In truth, I haven't even got £150 to my name so I thought it'd share it with some wealthier bassists
11. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/321185877227 I am seriously tempted... It won't stay at that low price, think ill put a cheeky last second bid in! Could do with bit more of a description too!

15. Hey guys, I've been looking for a reasonably priced practice amp recently and have found is gem on eBay. It's not weird or wonderful in all honesty. Just wanted some opinions on the amp and a sensible price! http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Roland-cube-60-Bass-Amp-in-w-o-/390636065755?ssPageName=ADME:B:SS:GB:1123 Any advise is always appriciated!
16. The G&L sounds like a good shout. Going new though, http://www.sterlingbymusicman.com/sub-basses-international - is hell of a bass for £300 - got a Ray4 in white. Love it.

19. Design doesn't look that special, sounds alright. Would much rather a Jazz Bass Special.
20. Thank you for your honest answer Beta. Technically, it didn't work (needed rewiring) when I got hold of it, the pick ups still hum and it drops sound quite a bit, which I think is the output jack... I will contact the guys at the fan club. May consider selling it as a project (not a plug, just stating!).
21. Introducing my Kimberley Teisco Jazz (possibley Jazzmaster) Bass Rip Off! I came about owning this Bass from my father, who used to be in a local Jazz band, I got it when I was about 13 but could never really jel with it and never really comitted to playing enough hours! A fair few years have passed and suprisingly I still can't jel with it, even after teaching myself to play on my SBMM SUB Ray. It isnt in the greatest of conditions because it has spent the last year in a cupboard and before making its' way to me (8 years ago) it was in storage. It still plays, but the pickups hum quite alot. I would like to learn about it! Do we have any Japanese specialists in the forum? Also, on the neck plate, it simply says Japan, I cannot source a serial number on it. Cheers, Tony.
22. Thanks for the warm welcome guys! I shall start a thread regarding my old gal, the Kimberley, once I've grabbed some half decent photos and gotten her out the cupboard. Bert, indeed I have, just increasing my overdraft before sending it your way . Cheers, Tony.
23. Hi! My name is Tony and as the title suggests, I love bass! I live in Norfolk, UK and I don't own a farm but I do ride horses! I currently play a SBMM Stingray SUB 4 and I own a Kimberley (Teisco) Jazz Bass Knockoff, which isn't in great shape, but one day ill fix it up. Been reading the forum for a while, just never signed up. Cheers for reading and any advise to help me fix up the Jazz are always appreciated! Tony.
