mostly a lurker, sorry for the low post-count.
I took these photos in response to a wanted ad, but nothing came of that. figured since i took the photos, i may as well offer it to the peeps here. player's bass with a lot of 'mojo', as they call it; everything works, and sounds great- very warm bass.
i was told these go for £800, but that seems a bit much... so feel free to send offers/questions. not looking for trades, but may consider if you have an EBS multicomp to throw in on the deal.
i'm in glasgow, and would GREATLY prefer pickup. If i ship it, it will be at cost of postage+materials, paid by the buyer.
interesting things about the gibson ripper:
34.5 scale
wide/thin body, fast neck
two humbuckers with the following switching options:
1- parallel, out of phase
2- parallel, in phase
3- bridge solo
4- serial, in phase
controls are:
volume, treble cut, mid cut
includes original case, while beat up, is nevertheless important, as finding a case that fits a larger bass like this can be difficult.
apologies for the bad photos (IMO, the bass looks lots nicer in person). i specifically took them with the flash on to more clearly show any flaws. when i have time, i'll try re-taking these during daylight hours in hopes of an in-focus/non-flash set.
