MB1. I have used this at Rehearsal Tonight/ last night and to be quite honest this is a serious act to follow in both sound and playability... regardless of looks...This seriously punches above its weight....So for the time being it will be remaining with me...i doubt id get anything anywhere near as good for its second hand Value.Thankyou to Everybody who expressed an interest. Martin.
Just collected Lawrence's Trace head from him. What a nice, friendly and trust worthy bloke! We stood there in the Sainsbury's car park (as I'm sure many have before!) comparing stories of playing in our younger days for half an hour or so before rain halted play. What a top guy though - he's got absolute integrity and is yet another example of what makes Bass Chat is what it is. Mark
MB1. ...Deja Vous?

Kingbass Artist Princess bass (The Princess off the first album) ...Ebay Number...160472103742.. Cant imagine many of these appearing on Ebay ...Ideal if youre in a Level 42 Tribute band! Much more original than Universals latest Level 42 Greatest Hits Album! Sorry not lazy /dont know how to add link!
As a way of taking the glassiness out of your Ray's tone, have you tried stringing it with flatwounds? I did this to my Sterling (which, to my ears is even glassier than the Stingray) and it did wonders.
MB1. ...Think Steves looking for something to make it sound like a Fender Jaguar? I think he should keep the Stingray really!....Youll miss it when its Gone Steve!...You Will!...This happens to ALL previous Stingray Owners! Mark Miwurdz!
