I think not.
MB1. ...As Used on the theme tune to The Exorcist!
 2.
Hola all, Not 100% sure if this is the right place,,,,HOWEVER. due to my love of Rickenbackers i was hoping someone local would be willling to swap me their Rik for my stingray or any of my other fenders really, for a few weeks. So its not a permanent deal chaps, just really fancy trying one out for a bit.....alternatively you could always invite me round for a cuppa tea and let me play it through your rig cheers Steven
MB1. ..."Tonight Mathew! ..im going to be!...... You bought a stingray on ebay, having never tried one previously, with absolutely no idea of how one might even feel to play and no idea of the price you should have paid for it.... and then came on here to ask about it, after you bought it?
MB1. ...anybody remember that Joboxers Tune "Just got Lucky!"...Think ya did there!
He he I voted "any colour". I know you're mad keen on originality but speaking as a player and not a collector there's a satisfaction that a (well done) refin has over a restoration. Besides I'm the one painting it and I can't be arsed with CAR. I kinda like the white from those above - also the yellow looks interesting to me, although I'd imagine it not getting too many votes (probably why I like it ). As far as the serial number goes, if it were me I'd take pictures as proof then sand the neck as much is as necessary to remove the scorched marks. You could always stash a pic under the p/g for future owners - not that you'd sell your dream bass anyway.
MB1. ...I know you love a Challenge! ...Candy Apple Red it is then!

 20.
I thought I'd start this thread again as the previous one took on a bit of a diversion I bought his beautiful Fender American Series Jazz bass just under 3 weeks ago but am struggling with the Jazz profile neck. In the meantime I have bought a Fender P bass, so this needs to go to find my latest acquisition. It cost £969 when I bought it and is in immaculate condition. It has never been gigged and only played at home a handful of times. It ocmes with the new style SKB/Fender case, all the candy and is strung with a set of D'Addario Chromes. It weighs in at 8lb 10oz. The finish is beautiful and it sounds amazing. The action is very low too. Unfortunately however the neck is a bit too thin for my hands I would like £790 for this with the SKB Case, but will accept £740 for this without a case. I can also sell it for £760 with the older style shaped Fender case (in excellent condition). I edon't want to sell the cases separately. I would consider trades for a decent acoustic/electro-acoustic guitar but need to release some cash on this too. PM me if you want more pictures or any more details. I've also attached a pic of Maria Sharapova as my wife for purely academic reasons
MB1. ...Academically Speaking you have a long way to go to match Lysdexias Sales Pitch! BUMP!
