I done this to my Warwick Streamer Standard in early 2004 when I was playing a few 80’s tribute gigs with my college on the Isle of Wight. I was significantly pissed and found a skateboard in a bush but I had my bass on my back in a gig bag, so I jumped on the skateboard and…

I’d like to think I’ve learnt from my mistakes having acquired some considerably more expensive basses than a Streamer Standard (rrp £360ish).
I managed to get it fixed for 50 quid in a local shop and it came back looking spotless. I couldn't believe it. This bass is now retired from playing and is tucked up nice and safe. It won't ever be getting sold because of emotional attachment (it was my first 'real' bass), but don't know if I'd be able to get anyone on here to buy it anyways after reading this .
Has anyone broken a bass worse than this?
Theres a lot to be said for the Hardcase!......Great for keeping your bass safe!.....sh*t for skateboarding with!

Went to Sound Control Salford Manchester yesterday, checked the SUPERFLYS they have left 3 i believe ,couldnt find any Made in ....... information anyhere not on the box or the actual Amp. .
MB1.
I personally wouldnt have a clue, its one of those Guitar Things......!.However if you think its a bit dodgy, inform EBAY,they will pull the ad,and you could be doing somebody ,who maybe ,should have gone to specsavers....... a big favour.
I suspect the problem maybe that the amp is overheating. I had a similar issue with a Warwick combo years ago.
Could be its......"insides are all wrong!"
+1 for the Tubbs avatar!
Yes - a very soflty spoken chap called Guy works there. I had a chat with him today and he confirms he's had a few in with the same problem. They've identified a fault with one of the power boards and it seems to be a bad batch from the production line. I don't think Ashdown have a load of spare power boards laying around as the Superflys are all made in China and shipped over.
