Not really on topic for this thread, but a friend of a friend has started a "live karaoke" band where they have a spare vocal mic and encourage people to get up on stage and do their thing with the band. Apparently it's quite popular. MB1. Popular like what?.....The X factor.......Simon Cowells bank manager perhaps?. Giving punters(intoxicated or not) an open mic, is never a good idea, jesus ,have you not heard of Mick Hucknall.
I haven't used this at all yet, but I'm hopefully buying a Lexicon MPXG2, so this can go to make way for it. I have a power supply that came with it, but this will need a UK adaptor, or you can buy the Diago power supply that I'm also selling and use that. Yours for only £125 including 1st class postage. MB1. i havent got a clue what a demeter compulator is but im sure if you pop down the chemist theyll give you some creme to put on it,got it in New York eh!.

MB1 replied to 2wheeler's topic in General Discussion
Who's the bassist for Gil Scott-Heron "The Bottle"? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I54DgVennXU Sorry the sound is a bit rubbish on youtube but it is free... You see his face at times but who is it pumping out that smooth groove? I am sure loads of you will know this but I couldn't a definitive answer on the internet. Is it Ron Carter? Thanks in advance. MB1. On Gils live album he calls the bassist Robin Gordon a.k.a The secretary of entertainment. -
Which one though? I've got to say i've always preferred Gary husband - he always seems to have put more into being a drummer than gould. MB1. Would have to go with Gary Husband, me thinks, much more power, aggression and positivity.
Less than a year old, purchased new in Jan this year. Gigged twice, home use and studio since. Beautiful bass, nice light ash body. The neck is a nice handful without being too 'clubby'. No marks, hardly any fret wear - it is in fantastic condition. Comes with fender soft case, hang tags and original receipt. Buyer collects from East London or I may meet - message me and discuss. Anyone is welcome to come and try it out - again, message me. Got to let it go - I need the funds £380 MB1. Think somebody on basschats after one of these, remember somebody mentioned one of these on which signature bass thread! me thinks.
