9. I have a wedding gig at Cain Manor Farnham, run by Bijou corporate events and received their Bijou band agreement, which states no amps or monitors can be used by the band, and Must use electric drums. We have to plug directly into their mixer,or we can use ours, then that mix goes to their limiter system, then into 4 Bose speakers in the hall. Two front house two back of hall. Some of the band use IEM anyway so they should be fine using our mixer, but i usually use a monitor for sound limiter gigs which i wont have. So anyone played there with this system, how did the band mix/sound etc thanks Ady
10. I use the Fender leather strap 3.1/4" wide,i think it was about £55..i find it really comfortable, with my Yammy which weighs 10lbs
11.
If the pot rotates without crackling or grating then it's unlikely to be that - they either work or they mechanically fail. I presume you've already tried replacing the battery? If so, you're potentially looking at a preamp fault or a failed connection. What sort of bass is it?
just wishful thinking it may have been the pot,its my Yamaha bb2005,and i have tried a new battery,so need to get it looked at. thanks
12. I am guessing its a fault in the preamp, but hoping it may just be the tone pot that needs replacing. Starting with the tone knob in the centre detent and boosting there is no change in volume to the bass frequency, Starting with the tone knob in the centre detent and cutting has little effect on the volume/bass frequency until nearly turned all the way then it cuts quite a bit. So for around 80% of its travel there is no change in volume or tone, All the other controls still work fine. Anyone had this problem or know what the problem could be Thanks in advance Ady
13. Hi, Up for sale again my Yamaha BB605...this was my backup bass for first,my Yamaha BB2005,then the later arrival BBNE2 which has now been sold,so this is now surplus to requirements. It is a really good quality bass for the money, and in very good condition as the pics will show, only slight marking on the back but nothing that goes through the finish. It weighs a comfortable 9.1/2lbs,..the neck is great and set with a very low action The controls knobs are volume, pickup pan, bass, treble, mid sweep and mid sweep on/off switch. Looking for £170 and will include an old basic hard case,or £200 with a hiscox case. cheers Ady now SOLD
