Would consider cash offers £250 anyone?
I can confirm these are great basses for the money..the B string sound on mine is huge, and this is an absolute bargain of a price..IMO. -

F/S Yamaha TRB 5P mk1 + OHSC £500 "SOLD"
bassmanady replied to bassmanady's topic in Basses For Sale
It has an ebony board. I've played this bass and it's absolutely wonderful - the only reason it's still for sale is that there isn't room to fit a V-bass pickup to it, otherwise I would have bought it on the spot. I'm still wondering whether that was the right decision so hurry up before I change my mind. Ady is a thoroughly nice chap too, he even gave me a lift back to the railway station!
Thanks Pete, nice to meet you...must apologise for that cuppa tho',and forgetting to get the biscuits out!! -

Hi Guys, After selling my Alembic Rogue, the GAS got the better of me and i am now up to 5 basses, which is not a bad thing by any means...but i would like to reduce back down to 3,so as i dont really need 3 Yamaha TRB 5P's, i am selling one, This one made in 1991,is the lightest at 9.5lbs and in the best condition..with no buckle rash,or dings to the headstock or neck..all i can find is one small chip on the edge, and a ding below the neck pup, which does not show up on the pics, and the fine surface lines caused by slap playing. It has a 34" scale neck, ebony board, and the controls are,volume,pick-up pan,bass/cut boost,treble/cut boost, piezo pan,piezo/switch which changes the piezo tone. It has the original case which is also in very good condition. Looking for £500 now sold As i am trying to reduce basses i am not really looking for any trades on this...thanks Ady
I owned a 5 string Rogue for a while. It went to Bassmanady - not sure if he still has it or not though.
I have sold it now Barrie...the weight was probally one reason, and i never really got on with the preamp filters and controls
-
Hi Guys, I am thinking of selling this very nice TRB 5P11,it is in excellent condition, and i am only the second owner from new. It weighs only 9.5lbs,has a 35" scale neck, controls are volume,pick-up pan, bass, mid, top,cut/boost,and Piezo volume I have owned it for over 2 years and it has been my main gigging bass, for most of that time. The mid control frequency is spot on IMO.and i rarely had any problems cutting through the mix,and dialling in some piezo really gives bite to the sound. My reason for selling is i have recently bought a TRB 5P Mk1,which i prefer slightly more soundwise, and also it has a 34"scale neck, which i find a bit easier to play. It comes with its OHSC which is in excellent condtion also. Looking to sell for £850 Sorry i am not looking for trades on this. Thanks Ady

I have not seen a thread for TRB basses ,so i thought i would start one.. owned all these over a period of 4 years all now sold
Just checked mine and it's immaculate
i thought mine were ok until i put my glasses on found each button has the very faintest line, not a crack, but only on one half,..looks like a join maybe Also noticed mine do wobble about a bit, anyone else find this.

I have had mine for a couple of months now and i absolutely love this rig....the amp RH 450,has so many good features, and the 2x10 cabs sound very good for their size.... they are light and so easy to carry....my sack barrow has become redundant.
