1. I was wondering if Fender basses are compulsory for the show...just kidding of course...but they were in charge this week.
2. Very nice collection...i think the sofa is just about long enough to add the fretless
3.
Fender Jazz, Candy Apple Red with matching h/stock, with white pearl plate and chrome neck ashtray. Ohhhhhh yesssssssss.
+1 for an Ohhhhhhh yessssssss!!
4. A strong colour favourite is Candy Apple Red...on a bass with a matching headstock.
5. Hi Rich, nice collection you have..and the ACG looks great, its the first time i have seen one,all those stacked knobs to play with..nice Ady
6.
I had Barts in my old Sei Flamboyant 5. They sounded awful. Really woolly. The eq was a nice 18v Schack, so there was no problem there. If I'd kept the bass, the Barts would have definitely been replaced.
I have had 6 basses with Barts in and i thought they were ok as i play mainly finger style,my favourite bass was a Sei Flamboyant 5,the tone was really full and warm, great for finger style..but i could not get any form of slap/funk/rock sound out of it..still wish i had kept it.
7. It could be a Jazz Plus V
8. I only play 5 string basses now and i suppose the average weight has been around 10lbs..an ideal weight for me is around 9.5lbs i think 10.5lbs is the maximum
9. When i was at the factory, cant remember exactly 2004/2005,there was one of these in a rack of lots of basses..cant remember if it was one of J.E,but probally was,and Dawn let me play it...its an incredible bass!
10.
It's a funny old world. If this had any other name on it's headstock then people would be fighting with each other for it at £400. The spec says yes!
I think thats what has puzzled me.....was it the price or the make .....so i guess you are right, must be the name. Looks like my grandson will get his wish after all
11.
Still for sale..?
I bought these off Matt back in January

14.
I love this bass but I fear the neck is going to be too wide for my tiny mitts. Could you measure the width at the nut and the string spacing at nut and bridge?
Hi,the width at the nut is 47mm,string spacing 10mm,and at bridge 18mm.I have fairly small mits but have no difficulty playing it.cheers Ady
15. Back up for sale again,as i rarely play it now, since the TRB took over the main bass role.
16. Selling this really nice Cort Artisan A5 5 string that is pretty much in an unmarked condition. It has a natural finish solid flame maple body,maple/wenge thru-neck,rosewood board. Bartolini mk 1 pickups and mk 1 preamp,3eq with passive switch. Hipshot light tuners recent new set Elixir strings, and strap locks fitted. The neck is 34" scale, and is quite slim, with width at nut 45mm,and string spacing at the bridge 16mm. I.M.O a good quality 5 string bass, that is good value for the money. I dont have a case, only a vinyl gig bag type cover. This model i believe sells new for around £760,and i am now looking to sell for £300 Not looking for any trades thanks
17. Thats a really nice bass...i do think you should keep it and sell me your Overwater jazz instead ....good luck with the sale,Ady
18. Bump for an excellent amp,i have been using mine for 2 years,i have markbass, trace, ashdown amps and this one for me is my first choice at the moment.
19. Bump,price reduced to £400
20.
Modulus do a satin finish.
Yes i had Modulus Quantum 5 string with a satin finish,i preferred it to the gloss finish on a Status i owned, and would always choose it if i had the choice.
21. Very tempted with that stunning quilt maple top model...but i know its going to end up being out of my price range..
22.
Trade Pending for something fretless!
Pedulla???
