Never knew this existed until I saw it in the bass Porn thread, haven't seen one since! Rare and awesome bass!
Cheers Kev! Indeed it is a rare beauty. The lacquered neck and maple board on this Warwick feel fantastic. Dare I say I prefer this maple board to the usual Wenge. I REALLY don't want to sell this but sometimes needs must. Btw folks the dot markers are decals and are fully removable. She's taken a couple of dings as pictured but they are purely cosmetic and just confirm she's a 22 year old player and not a glass case instrument. Cosmetics could be sorted at cost by my local luthier at cost but I personally like it as it is. The neck is perfectly set and plays lovely. There are a few videos of this bass in action. I'll dig them out and put the links up soon. No trades please. Cash only and serious offers considered. Thanks!

PRICE DROP TO £1500 +p&p With tears in my eyes. I must let the best Warwick bass I've ever played find a new home. Vintage 1993 Warwick Streamer Jimmy Earl Signature 5 string. This is a rare beast. I know because it took me years to find one! This Jimmy Earl Streamer combines elements of what we now know and love as the Stage 1 and Stage 2 and adds some lovely custom touches all of it's own. All hand crafted back then, with a sound, feel and neck to die for! The spec; Maple with wenge stringers. neck through body construction. Maple fingerboard (this feels great to play on). Swamp ash body wings 18v 3band push/ pull (active/ passive) MEC electronics Stage2 narrow string spacing (awesome!) Stage2 JJ pup configuration. Creme with very fine sparkle paint job.... I'm off to cry some more and then I'll upload some pics of the bass.

Nice review there Kev. It really looks like a top notch Warwick product again which is nice to see...and no plastic nut to be seen Mind if I ask, ball park figure, what you paid for The Beast? No problem if you would rather keep that to yourself! Marks out of 10 for value for money? Question, Why does Warwick have a UK rep but no dealers? Surely getting even 5 or 10 great new or ex-demo bases out there to give us a feel for them would improve their image and reputation for quality that went a bit wayward. My only other thoughts on your comments about Warwick getting back on track is their lack of quality marketing. Andy Irvine is a great face for Warwick and does a sterling job at profiling many basses in the range but what is happening with their endorsed pro players? I mean they made a star bass for Bootsy, where is the promo vid of him playing the nuts off that bass with a band??? Stuart Zender, heavily stoned, plucking like two notes on his signature bass and acting goofy. Its just not enough quality footage of inspirational playing to make ME the potential customer WANT the products. That combined with sky-high retail prices for essentially CNC production-line instruments is really shooting themselves in the foot IMO. Custom Shop, fine be elitist with your pricing, but not your production lines. For me anyway, Warwick basses have always been very close to my heart, but will remain to be second-hand market purchases. I look forward to more of these 2013/14 return to wenge era basses becoming available S/H sometime in the near future. Might give one a try! Oh and congrats Kev. Thats a stonking bass you have there ;-)

Is that a 7-piece all wenge neck-through broadneck Kev??? No wonder she's got some weight to her!
If they are stickers just remove and leave alone! If you are thinking of getting LEDs fitted just sell it to me as is and buy something with LEDs!
Don't worry Boss. I don't think I'll be dropping £500 on xmas lights any time soon. lol
Fair play, John and that is a cracking score Denzel
Yea someone knows their, spose the name says it all! Cheers Kev!
I didn't think they had fret markers...
They don't. They are 'yin yang' decals, applied by a previous owner. Not sure they are going to stay...thinking a full set of Sims leds in green would look killer on this bass.
