7. In complete honesty, i am not able to tell an original screw from just some very old screw, sorry. Everything in this bass looks pretty old to me. No repairs to my knowledge, and none I can spot. I have set it up and put it apart several times and all responds perfectly, it is very solid and well built. And it plays and sounds fantastic.
8. For sale this VERY EARLY US Lakland, Bob Glaub model. Manufactured in 2002. This bass is stupidly minty, looks brand new. The neck features the legendary birdseye maple fingerboard, from early US Lakland's. For those who doesn't know them, quite simply one of the best bass necks in existence IMHO. This Bob Glaub comes with a custom Jazz-width neck (1.5" at the nut). It plays and sounds amazing. Engineers love her. Comes with also like-new OHSC, PU cover and screwss in umopen bag, and 2 original scratchplates (white tortoiseshell and black). The bass is light, only 3,9 kg. 9. For sale my all original Gibson V Bass from 1981. This is a very rare bird, as only 375 of these were manufactured, only in 1981 and most of them were black. This is the very rare "silverburst" finish. No significant dings or scratches on the finish, which shows a very nice checking and crazing (take a look at the photos). The V bass is a shortscale bass, with passive electronics and killer rock tone. Comes with OHSC and paperwork. Lightweight at 4 kg. NOW 2300 pounds. 10. For sale my 1966 Jazz Bass in Olympic White with matching headstock. This is the typical transition model, with dots and binding, only manufactured during a few months in 1966. To my knowledge this bass is all original. The finish has faded to a creamy white colour. I took some of the photos with a white sheet of paper next to it for reference of the shade. The back of the neck is naturally worn off from hours of playing. In my opinion this is one of the best vintage basses I have ever played "feel-wise". The neck is straight and the truss rod works fine. The PUs are strong and the tone is great. Comes with both covers and OHSC from 1966. Weight is only 4 kg. 11. For sale my 1960 Fender Precision Bass. Very very old black refinish, very thin nitro. Both body (PU cavity) and neck heel pencil-dated 1960. Stunning Brazilian rosewood slab fingerboard. Deep preCBS contours. All electronics are original, as is the body, neck, PG, etc. Truss rod works perfectly. The back of the neck seems to have been very lightly sanded a long time ago too. It feels simply amazing. Neck is straight, action is low, tone is perfect. Really, this bass has -as you can expect- THE PBass tone. Comes with a Fender OHSC from the mid 60s and original bridge cover. Light weight at 3,8 Kg. Now 3200 pounds. 13. That's a fine looking neck.
14. No news from the guy who wanted it. Up for grabs again!
15. Whoever gets this will be happy. I am the lucky owner of three Fullerton RIs (one of each model manufactured), and they are the closest replicas of Pre-CBS basses that Fender has ever produced IMHO.
16. The tone of this thing is unreal. True pure Jazz Bass sound.
17. For Sale the best Fender Custom Shop I have ever played. Made in 2001 (back when CS production was very limited). Very light, 3,8 kg (8,3 pounds). Very very resonant body. It sounds and plays impeccable. The black finish is nicely reliced. It shows beautiful light crazing in the nitro that didn't come out in the photos. These early Custom shop Fenders are rare and outstanding. I thought I would never sell this one. OHSC looks like new. Comes with all original accessories and COA. No trades, thanks.
