  2. What's the weight of that beauty?
  3. I have been searching the forums and this might be the first time one of these pops up for sale. The story: Last Christmas I ordered a fretless neck for my 2014 US Joe Osborne. I had to send the whole bass to Chicago since they demand it at the factory for perfect fit. After 6 months I got the new neck and it was perfect. Then I realized I would probably not fit the fretted neck back, so here it is. We are talking about an original, almost unplayed, US Lakland JO neck, birds-eye-maple fretboard with perloid blocks and white binding. If you called Lakland to order a neck like this one, it would cost you around $1500, and you would have to send your original body to be fitted at the factory, and wait 4-6 months. An pay import taxes. About the neck, not much to say, it is absolutely perfect, and it feels and looks 95% brand new. It is fully loaded with hipshot tuners, string tree and bone nut. The maple grain in stunning, both at the front and at the back, were the maple lines are almost parallel to the neck sides. Impressive craftmanship. It plays like a dream. By the way it fits US JOs models, but also US Decades (I tried it on mine and was tight and perfect) and probably BGs with 1.5" neck width. I won't fit skylines. A rare oportunity to change the looks of your rosewood FB Lakkie.
  4. Only 8,6 pounds (3,9 kg), boys and girls! Probably the best PBass for sale around here...
  5. Yes, 1.75 nut. Frets are excellent, almost no wear. The fretwork is PERFECT. Fender should learn from these guys.
  6. I shouldn't do this. For sale my US Lakland Bob Glaub, made in Chicago during the golden era of Lakland. 100% original. Custom order olympic white finish and anodized PG (probably the only one). Beautiful, dark rosewood fingerboard with BEM dots. Fitted with the sweetest pair of Lindy Fralins pickups. Light weight. Original Lakland cream hardshell case. I would describe overall condition as 7/10. There are a few dings, scratches, marks, etc. The bass has been played and looked after. And it has been played a lot quite simply because it is one of the best PBasses you will ever play. By the way, this bass has the best Lakland neck I have owned, and there have been a few too many. I know what you are thinking: "Don't do it, don't sell this bass". I know and you are right, but I just bought a very expensive drumset and I need to recover from that. The bass is in Malaga to try, but I have no doubts it will make any bassist a very happy person. It sounds like a preCBS with flats, it kills and roars with rounds. Engineers love it. And the neck is pure bass pornography. Price is 2250 EUR. I prefer to set the price in Euros since the pound is a bit crazy lately.
