Sorry, I seem to be doing nothing but adding to the confusion, or creating it. My last post should have read “did it kill the B3n WHINE”. Up to now I’ve used a separate power supply for my B3n, with no whine. I just wanted to simplify my setup and get rid of extra wires etc.

I got a set of Hosco ones off eBay couple years ago. Much cheaper than elsewhere. They seem to have jumped in price recently. Try Tonetech.

Does it kill the B3n?

Doesn’t look like a fake to my untutored eye. However, the uniformity of appearance of the tarnished parts causes me to think they have been treated in some way, like exposure to corrosive vapour or whatever they do to relic metal.

Reporting back. The splitter thingy didn’t work with the B3n, alas. The mosquito whine was still there. Time for a rethink. Maybe I need to spring for a Helix.

I hear tell on the interwebs that the Fender Rumble range work well with guitar. Plus, their appearance is ambiguous so they could be mistaken for a guitar amp, if that sort of thing bothered you. As it would me. I do looping live on occasion with my bass and Tele or Strat going thru various treatment devices, into a Boss RC-300 and then into a MarkBass CMD 102p. Sounds just fine to me.

Yeah, watch it. Have you never heard a pipe band at full chat? If it didn’t stir you then you’re dead inside.

Vulfpeck are at the top of their game, to my mind. I love their infectious enthusiasm and weapons grade funk. And interesting clothing choices.
