  1. Yep, they’re good for acoustic guitar and electric bass. Worth the money I reckon.
  2. I have a Zen Drive clone which ceased to function. I put it in a drawer and forgot about it. The original builder has moved back to US. It’s a nice sounding pedal, but since I don’t play guitar so much I’ve not prioritised fixing it. Anyhoo, I would like to get it working again, but have NO IDEA about electronics. Would anyone on here take a look at it for me? I’ll pay! BTW, it’s not the switch: I replaced that myself by copying the original wiring. When off sound passes through, when engaged, NADA.
  3. And I, sir, would encourage you to do so. This minute.
  4. This is absolutely correct. I live in the country and if I walk about five metres from where I’m sitting I could have a Jazz Bass in my hand.
  5. I’ve got one of these. I think it’s a good case, especially for the money. When it arrived, the lining was coming away from the foam shell in places. It looks like some kind of spray glue is used to attach the lining. I kept it because I thought it was still usable, but I mentioned the issue in a review on G4M website. They contacted me immediately and refunded my money, and when I offered to return the case they told me to keep it. Thanks, G4M! I would definitely buy another one of these cases if I needed one.
  6. Ditto my HB Jaco style fretless. Played great, weighed a ton. I wish I still had it.
  7. Ah, the bass sound and the bass playing on Gaslighting Abbie are COSMIC!
  8. I had one of those Harleys. It was much, much better looking than the one in the OP. And it played very nice, although it was pretty heavy.
  9. I fondly remember the warm orange-red glow of my Yamaha THR10. You could turn it off via software, but who would do such a thing??
  10. Ah, grasshopper, that is COLD FUSION.
  11. I played one of those limited edition fretless sunburst/roasted maple Stingrays in GuitarGuitar in Glasgow two weeks ago. It was astoundingly light, the lightest bass I have ever played. I think it was lighter than my Ibanez SR500. Carry on.
  12. Those are what I call musicians, and that’s what I call a band!
