I’ve got a five in a row one. All my guitars have got scratches from banging against each other (or each another as they say over on the east side of Scotland).
don't pack them too close together! Sell guitars or get another rack!
I do the odd solo (fretted and fretless) looping gig, and I like to use lots of FX. Comes from being a reformed guitar player.
Playing in my band I use only octaver and envelope follower, courtesy of my Zoom B3n, which is brilliant.
I do like FX on fretless, all the same.
Sadly, I just sold a very nice Ricardo Sanchis, rosewood and cedar, for £200. Absolute bargain.
These are fine guitars, made in Valencia, and come upon eBay from time to time.

I make scratch plates for my Tele mule from thin polystyrene sheet off of eBay. In the style of early Fender plates made from Garolite, with no bevel, just softly rounded so as not to catch my delicate little paws.
It is very easy shape with Stanley blades and fine abrasive papers. The only problem is its flexibility, which means screw holes have to be big enough to avoid imposing flex forces. Plus it picks up a lot of gunk from fingers.
Ease of working is important for me in the absence of workspace and tools.
