  1. Love that tablecloth!
  2. I do the odd solo (fretted and fretless) looping gig, and I like to use lots of FX. Comes from being a reformed guitar player. Playing in my band I use only octaver and envelope follower, courtesy of my Zoom B3n, which is brilliant. I do like FX on fretless, all the same.
  3. Sadly, I just sold a very nice Ricardo Sanchis, rosewood and cedar, for £200. Absolute bargain. These are fine guitars, made in Valencia, and come upon eBay from time to time.
  4. Looks very interesting. I used to have a Yamaha THR10, which was great, and this might trump it. Sorry to use the trump word, I’ll wash my mouth out.
  5. What is the weight, and nut width? Is it the Sterling SUB Ray 4 you’re looking for, or the American SUB?
  6. Yamaha really know what they’re doing, eh?! Lovely bass.
  7. It’s a can opener as well, no?
  8. I’ve got one of these. Fantastic quality and great protection. Buy with confidence. Plus, Sean is a great guy!
  9. Two BBG4‘S here. Great basses, great value for money!
  10. Handsome!
  11. It’s an RB960, I believe. Also was available in sunburst and black. Tasty.
  12. I quite like that. It looks like something from a Looney Toons cartoon.
  13. Wise words, Stew. It is self evidently the case that tort is part of THE NATURAL ORDER OF THINGS. Some tortured and deluded souls cling to other notions. Sad!
  14. I make scratch plates for my Tele mule from thin polystyrene sheet off of eBay. In the style of early Fender plates made from Garolite, with no bevel, just softly rounded so as not to catch my delicate little paws. It is very easy shape with Stanley blades and fine abrasive papers. The only problem is its flexibility, which means screw holes have to be big enough to avoid imposing flex forces. Plus it picks up a lot of gunk from fingers. Ease of working is important for me in the absence of workspace and tools.
  15. Bugger! I will have these if Andy doesn’t want them.
  16. Wow nice!
  17. Really nice! Love that scarf!
  18. Perhaps the Sterling shape would suit a short scale better. To me, Mustangs etc look like toys.
  19. Brandoni has/had a TON of stuff from Eko. One of the most playable guitar necks I ever experienced was on an old Eko jumbo. It had the unusual and reviled zero fret.
  20. Good work! And perhaps an improvement in appearance!
  21. That’s one way of getting the seventies sound..
  22. Love that Dorado thru neck Ray!
  23. Quite light then. Get thee behind me, Satan!
  24. Very nice indeed! I wish I got on with the necks on these. What does it weigh, my good man?
