I’ve just bought a lovely Yamaha bass from James.
I am very chuffed:a great bass at a great price, and James is an absolute pleasure to deal with, plus he is an expert at packing items to military specification. Deal with confidence.
Thanks, James !

Al Jarreau, yes!! I drive my wife and daughter bats, replaying Roof Garden and Boogie Down. Dated, yes, but punchy playing, tight arrangements, and wallopingly funky bass parts. Eighties rule ok!
Great points above, thanks guys! Very useful.
And, yes, I do know what kosher means. Here in UK it’s also a colloquial term meaning “seems to be okay.”
Thanks for the various responses. I was toying with the idea of asking them to organise their own courier, but I can see some possible pitfalls now.
I appreciate the precautions Deedee has taken to ensure correct process.
Keep the input coming, folks, much appreciated!
Can anyone advise?
I have a classical guitar on eBay right now, and a guy in Germany wants me to send it to him.
Does anyone know of a safe reliable courier to Germany? Or is that an oxymoron or something?
I have a case for it, and I would box it. (I have had very bad expensive experience of sending an acoustic guitar by DHL.)
Any Basschat wisdom gratefully accepted.
Second hand Ibanez SR500, if you can find one. Frequently to be found on Gumtree.
Very ergonomic design, plays great, got the mid control for maximum versatility.
I keep thinking I need an extra cab for my Markbass 210 combo, to look and feel more manly.
But when I gig with the MB, it is easy to schlep, and really VERY LOUD.
Hmm, your grass looks like somebody might have wee’d on it. Who would do such a thing??
The lovely SB14, on the other hand, looks like it has never been wee’d on. Not once.
