  1. I’m checking the Eurosender site now. Looks kosher.
  2. Thanks for the various responses. I was toying with the idea of asking them to organise their own courier, but I can see some possible pitfalls now. I appreciate the precautions Deedee has taken to ensure correct process. Keep the input coming, folks, much appreciated!
  3. Can anyone advise? I have a classical guitar on eBay right now, and a guy in Germany wants me to send it to him. Does anyone know of a safe reliable courier to Germany? Or is that an oxymoron or something? I have a case for it, and I would box it. (I have had very bad expensive experience of sending an acoustic guitar by DHL.) Any Basschat wisdom gratefully accepted.
  4. Very nice looking bass. I'd have that away if I was looking for a Jazz.
  5. Second hand Ibanez SR500, if you can find one. Frequently to be found on Gumtree. Very ergonomic design, plays great, got the mid control for maximum versatility.

  7. I keep thinking I need an extra cab for my Markbass 210 combo, to look and feel more manly. But when I gig with the MB, it is easy to schlep, and really VERY LOUD.
  8. Hmm, your grass looks like somebody might have wee’d on it. Who would do such a thing?? The lovely SB14, on the other hand, looks like it has never been wee’d on. Not once.
  9. That is lovely that is.
  10. I had an HB fretless Jazz. It was really good, but a little heavy. No issues with gigging.
  11. Bonjour Franchement, bienvenu a Basschat.
  12. What lovely ferrules! And yes, being Crafted In Scotland just makes everything better!
  13. Very advanced bass for its time: the now fashionable single cut and the Parker headstock.
  14. Nice, what’s the nut width?
  15. Plus one for the TC BG250! Great wee amps.
  16. SR 500 can’t go wrong, apart from the terrible poo brown colour.
