  1. Jings, nice basses, chaps.
  2. I like it. Perhaps because he grooves like a mutha on it.
  3. Interesting! How does it sound?
  4. That G tuner, you could have taken it apart and flipped the tuner peg over, to make like an MM tuner.
  5. I almost grabbed it for myself. Two of them side by side would a make nice stomp only format pedalboard!
  6. Brilliant box of noise.
  7. Yep, that Ibanez is FUBAR. Send it to me and I will dispose of it for you. No, don’t thank me.
  8. Pizzaburst, I like it!
  9. Here’s tae us, wha’s like us? Damn few, and they’re a’ deid.
  10. Consider a Zoom G3 or B3, any version. You can load up six effects per patch. They can ALL be delays if you want, reverse, modulation, etc. I use my old G3 after my B3n for space/ambient/chorusy effects only. Sometimes I run this into a Boss RC-300 looper, which also has effects if I want. I can go crazy with that lot. The Zoom boxes are great value imho. You’re right about the Flashbacks, they are very good but a bit polite.
  11. Sadly, I have nothing to trade.
  12. Wow, what a beautiful bass. I wish I had £1600.
  13. Looks a lot like a Fender Dimension to my untutored eyes.
  14. Very interesting. We watch and wait..
  15. Wow, nifty. Larry Klein used to play one of those, I think.
  16. Looks interesting. What PSU did you get to power it?
  17. Crazy!
  18. Check out Cherry Wainer on YouTube, a fun and groovy South African Hammond player, sadly no longer with us.
  19. Hammond organ plus Leslie yes yes yes. The epiphany for me was Beggars Opera, at the Watermill in Paisley, when I heard that combo up close for the first time. I believe I saw God.
  20. Nadja Kossinskaja plays that Piazzolla piece beautifully! Fantastic stuff, thanks for sharing.
  21. Long time acoustic guitar player here. I love Tommy Emmanuel’s playing, and couldn’t get enough of it for a while. I was fortunate enough to spend time with him, when Martin Taylor had his International Guitar Festival in Kirkmichael, Ayrshire. Tommy was BnB’ed annually with my SIL for the festival. I had almost quit playing, but he was so kind and generous with me, showing me stuff. We would sit around the kitchen table and he just downloaded everything for me. I wish I could remember half of it. Got me going again, I can tell you. What a blast to be shown how to do the Chet Atkins boom-chick thing! Happy days, and seminal for a guitar player!
  22. Very nice bass. I’ve got one, done fretless, and it’s great. Buy it, somebody, it’s a good price!
