  1. You could consider stretching a dense weave cloth over the existing metal grille.
  2. Glad you know where my handle comes from! You're quite right, Neal Schon DID play SOTW on the album. I wonder if the Playhouse band was the same line up that played at Green's Playhouse, with Earth Wind and Fire? That was a COSMIC night, that was! The joint was jumping. There was nothing like a Green's audience. BTW, have you ever thought of having a stab at east St Louis Toodle-Oo? That would be very cool too. I also saw Poco at Green's: Rusty Young was playing pedal steel through a Leslie cabinet, and it sounded wonderful. Have you heard that sound?
  3. Jeebus, good stuff.
  4. Jings! Very stylish, very shiny!
  5. Bart mark ones are fine! Ignore the naysayers!
  6. NOT Rolex! Tolex! Stupid spellcheck.
  7. Try Solsound on eBay. Tons and tons of Rolex, casters, grille cloth, etc etc.
  8. It is in fact a Big Al in its larval stage.
  9. Gawd bless ya, guv. PM incoming.
  10. Yah, I was going to mention that one above. It looks like it’s going backward in time, or something.
  11. You mean the Fodera?😀
  12. Well, thank you kindly, I will gladly have them, and slip you a few bob, if they are indeed Elixirs. Got PayPal details?
  13. I had a Harley Benton Jazz with the “fang” headstock. It was 30 minutes work to round off the beaky bit and it was much better looking. Maple is VERY hard!
  14. Wow, is this my Christmas present, I wonders?
  15. The Boss looks good. Will it work with a pedalboard, does anybody know?
  16. Yes. Try their website. This is the email address: info @tech21nyc.com. He should be able to tell you who the UK repair tech is.
  17. Try contacting Lloyd at Tech21. Very helpful guy.
  18. Blimey, she’s great! Blows my mind when folks play complex bass parts and sing at the same time!
  19. How sad. I really loved the polish his playing gave to some great music. Weirdly I was just listening to Quincy Jones’ Body Heat, which I love, with his lovely playing on it. RIP.
  20. The version of Black Cow is great. I love the bouncier feel, really good stuff!
  21. That’s how it got broken, lad!
  22. Oh, you pretty thing..
