Well, it turns out my usb cables were ALL flaky. Got one that worked, all problems solved.

I vastly prefer Denis’ Tonelib to the Zoom app. Much easier to use. I am loving the B3n.

Very nice looking Jazz. Does it have the big ugly rout under the scratch-plate, or just the pickup slots?

Well, I've just loaded v3 up, and it seems to work OK, apart from a nag screen telling me to connect to the internet. I added the v2 firmware with no problems.

The editor and general layout is not as intuitive as Tonelib.

This is very exciting! I've been successfully using Tonelib, which is great. But added MIDI functionality do beat all.

Get gold hatbox knobs, they will set off the gold nicely. You’ll see.

I’ve got one of these. Fecking brilliant, and none of the infamous pop described by ovnilabs.

If the MarkBass Evo is like my CMD102p then the fx loop is parallel, not series, so the preamp controls still affect the output signal. I changed the jumpers to series, but the front panel controls still affect the output.

Well, I was excited to see this. I got it to work once with the B3n. Oh joy! Worked a treat, editing patches was a breeze..

Second time, the B3n wouldn't connect, with a no device found message. Dang. I

wonder if the tiny USB socket on the Zoom is a bit flaky, because it would not connect to the Zoom Guitar Lab editor AT ALL.

Any other B3n owners have a problem connecting via USB?

This looks very good. I hope he includes the B3n soon. I cannot get the Zoom Guitar Lab to connect to my B3n. Grrr!

I’ve got a pair of these. Great monitors!

You can see the black (Delrin?) string guide is also shredded, so I’m guessing its string wear on both zero fret and string guide.

The grooves may eventually wear down lower than the first fret, causing buzzing. Use feeler gauges to check the height of the regular frets and the bottom of the groove in the zero fret. The top of the zero fret should be a HAIR taller.

I got a Digitech FS3X three button footswitch. It works perfectly out of the box with my TCE amp, as well as my obscure Johnson guitar amp. I believe it can be used with TCE’s Nova System as well. About twenty five quid. It operates the mute switch and either TonePrint.

Plus one for the THR10. Put it on the floor if you play bass through it, and it will be shockingly loud and bass. Honks like a mutha!

Sean, you shouldn’t have sold me your Markbass combo! It tilts back nicely and sounds good!

I like my CMD 102p combo very much. A wide range of tones. Different basses sound very different through it. Who knew?

I use two basses with differing output levels. I have a two channel TCE Nova Comp, and a Zoom G3 on my board. I can set level using either channel of the Nova, or via different patches on the Zoom. Simples.

Plus one for the Yamaha. Surprisingly loud. Also makes a great boom box for an MP3 player or smart tv with cruddy speakers. And you can play guitar through it, if you absolutely must.
